I’m pretty sure they were just re-enacting what they went through, turning it into a movie

Staywithme20for7

I want to start a Thua hate club tbh. Even book Thua (terrible person) didn't went so low.

Totally emo hours today. Thua didn't need to out Akk & Ayan. Especially when he’s gay himself. Oh FYI they were shooting a student video a “BL” to cover up what Akk did. Remember that what they used to explain it wasn't real?

the most jarring last section, I'm so taken aback how the writing suddenly deteriorated?? the transition from part 3 to 4 gave me whiplash lol.

TitaJosie

It felt a bit weird that they were suddenly all friends making the movie after having been at each other's throats in the classroom after the protest. I'm still confused by part 4 even after re-watching it. 👀😬

TitaJosie

I honestly am still confused. I have no idea how they could all be happy friends again after being at each other's throats without even talking about what happened. 👀😬

Holy farkin sheeeeee-at!!!

I do not understand why Thua outed everyone. Notice he did not admit his part in it until after the teachers left. When asked why he did it, he said he wanted everyone to tell the truth. Why did he care so much? And Aek got his certificate. Did he get the scholarship he wanted do badly? This show became confusing.

So Thua overstepped, in more than one way, but it doesn’t make him a terrible person. His goal is to get the crazy crap curse and everything related to it at the school to end, and the only way he thinks that can happen is to push the boundaries until the truth comes out. Whether it really is the only way for everything to come out cannot be known, but what he did, did help bring it all out. Should he have admitted his part in public? Yes… but maybe he figured there was more truth telling that had to come out first, and until it was all out, his plan was to do it all in the down-low. But yes, he overstepped. Chadok is a bit of a piece of work, possibly having become the person he did through internalized homophobia. Able to function when things were going well with Dika, maybe Dika’s suicide pushed him to reject everything he had come to believe. People can react to tragedy by turning away from everything they once allowed themselves, and go totally traditional, “playing it safe”, and as a teacher, maybe he’s suddenly convinced that yes, the Prinicipal is right, to save the kids from something similar happening to them, everything’s gotta be by the rules. I’m not saying all of that is exactly what happened… just that it might be.

So part 4 was a bit weird. It was meant as relief from all the drama earlier in the episode, went for fun, got there in some spots, and left us unsure of things in others. You weren’t alone in the head-scratching Josie! Loved reliving the episode with you, you expressed everything so well as always!! ❤️

Cédric Bardoux

I relate completly with your thoughts. I considere Thua brilliant and the real one who solves the drama. Ayan was more on a quest for vengeance, personnal matter. A lot of people tend to misjudge Thua; yes he goes very far, further than anyone but I am still thinking he was the only one who actually walk toward the real point. Along with the World Rmember gang, I love them so much.

No matter what the end goal is, never ever out anyone!!! In some cultures, it's a death sentence ffs 😡

It seems a lot was cut out when they were told they had 12 episodes instead of 14. That's what people in the YouTube comments have been saying. That's why eps. 11 & 12 felt a bit rushed and uneven. 👀😬

TitaJosie

Good thing they were able to hash things out. It would have been nice if those parts hadn't been cut out of the final edit though. 💖

TitaJosie

It turns out they cut the series from 14 to 12 episodes. Apparently the scenes that showed them talking things through more calmly were the ones that got cut. 👀😬

Craig White

Ohhh, interesting, good to know… but now I wish they hadn’t cut it so much, if only because I enjoyed The Eclipse so much. (Best show of the late summer/early fall for me.) of course, they may have made the right choice for other reasons; we’ll never know!
