Ohh you are not alone. I was shipping Allan/ Gaipa the moment I saw Alan walk in! In a way… it’s like Gaipa’s mother brought them together 💕

These BL’s recently have had something happen to the moms of the show. I like how everything is falling into place. Ming and Jim moment was everything! About time with Heart parents learning sign language. I watched on my own and now with you the song at the funeral has me crying. When I hear it I hear when Apo and Mile sung the song while Mile played the guitar and it makes me cry more because Mile sounded so beautiful singing that song.

What a series. This episode was so emotional. Jim looks envious when the fortune Gaia will inherit is mentioned. What was he thinking? I still prefer Alan and Wen to JIm and Wen. However, it would turn out to be Alan and Gaipa then good. Listening carefully to Jim's Thai, it was shocking to hear "flying a kite" as it has, ahem , dual meaning. Loved your reaction Tita. Shocking!

Such a great episode. The storyline with Gaipa and his mom...lordt...I really did have to pause, skip and then go back. during the eulogy and funeral scene (my aunt literally passed 2 weeks ago and today was her birthday and we're burying her in two days), Khatoung's acting was soo good! I usually have so much more to say, but this ep was just so good and emotional that I honestly don't even have much to say. Just .. wow! Can't wait for tomorrow's episode.

I was one who thought the mom was homophobic? But that was becasue of what Jim said she'd said about male-male relationships, but after this episode, I think it's exactly what Wen was saying to Jim. Alot of so called "allies" are allies as long as it's not THEIR sons and daughters who are gay. For example, I work with some people who I know vote for anti-gay conservative politicians, and yet they keekee and heehaw with the gay guy/girl who works with us, but the idea that her own child may be non-binary or gay is just too much for her. So MiLing's mom is fine with her brother who doesn't live with her and doesn't flaunt his "gayness" in front of her but the idea that her own son is gay is a step too far...which is tupid but not uncommon sadly

also, actually think many people are giving Jim a harder time than he deserves...yes he's been hard headed and a bit out of touch when it comes to new generational stuff, but Jim is truly a selfless guy with a good heart. Who hasn't truly harmed or cheated anyone and literally gave his last everything to help his nephew, his employees and even Wen. And even with his unbendablilty he's still a good guy with yes some outdated ideas, but knowing his trauma kinda even explains that.

I was sad for Gaipa because I lost my mother 10 years ago and I still miss her. Such a beautiful episode everything is falling into place for all the characters. I am sad that it will be over tomorrow. I have so enjoyed this series.

Top tier ensemble I must say!

It's all Moonlight Chicken for me tonight; watch episode 7, watch yuo watch episode 7, watch episode 8, watch you watch episode 8. Can't blame you for shipping Alan and Gaipa at the inappropriate moment. GMMTV ship pairings means it's unavoidable! Gaipa's story though; terrible when parents go suddenly (or too soon, but it's always too soon, no matter when). Beam's father: classic, old school asshole. Heart's father: so happy he's learning sign language now too! Li Ming has pretty much worked a miracle in that household, shocking the parents out of their pity and shame, and pretty much giving Heart a reason to wake up. Thank goodness Jim and Li Ming finally have a talk where they treat each other respect and tenderness. They'll find everything gets easier between them… …well, and of course it led to more open communication with Jam too. Li Ming is pretty intuitive about what he needs and how to proceed that makes the best sense for him, and those two "adults" seem to finally be recognizing that he should be treated like he's no longer a kid at least! Gaipa will need a miracle to get Alan out of his bitterness. My guess is that we only see the start of something for those two though, as credits role at the end of the finale. I really love the atmosphere in this show. P'Aof and his crew have done a wonderful job! Lots of struggles, but always mediated by hope, resilience, understanding, and kindness... all leading to love.

They used the flying a kite term in 1000 Stars too, and they literally were flying kites in the scene there. Lels. 🪁😝😅
