A Boss and a Babe - Episode 7

Not taking this show seriously. Not taking this show seriously. Not taking this show seriously. Okay, time to get serious here… Why is Cher not yet certain of what he means to Gun? All of this affection, and he still acts like he’s surprised every time Gun expresses his feelings again. We’ve dealt with the Porsche situation, haven’t we? He’s not a threat to Cher… it’s just the internship, right? But haven’t we dealt with that too? Gun’s already telling him he doesn’t want things to stop post-internship. Anyway, it’s not like Gun’s feelings aren’t reciprocated by Cher, they are. Next, Jack and the others are just starting to note how close these two are? And I’m talking pre-clip three. These two are nearly glued together now, so obvious at the beach, for example… …and then there’s the gaming/streaming in clip three, about which Cher warns Gun to stay out of frame, but which Gun blithely ignores… and then there are no consequences. After the “who is that?” there’s no more comments that we see, despite Gun standing there, tits out, for all to see! Thanks to all in that regard, but it was a missed opportunity for better storytelling there in the script… So Josie, you were right to exclaim “That’s it!” when Gun walked out… but for some reason that wasn’t it. It shoulda been it! Re: old. Yes, those whippersnappers have no respect! Strangely enough, even though Gun looks, I dunno, half a dozen years older than Cher, IRL Book is actually half a year older than Force, both currently 26. Cher only looks, what, 22 in this show? And not that Gun looks old, Force’s skin is equally as beautiful and youthful as Book’s, it’s just that he just looks more confident, more put-together, so he has the air of being older. It’s casting that works as perfectly this time as the opposite was true in Enchanté. Interesting to see Thoop jealous of Cher’s affections for Gun. I’m not saying it’s sexual in any way for Thoop, but Thoop is bringing out old prejudices re: people’s ability to love people of any gender, just to express his fear of losing Cher’s affection himself. Thoop’s simply insecure because he knows he’s not living up to what he should. I agree his treatment of Cher was unwarranted, but that’s all that was. I hope Cher can sense that, even if Thoop doesn’t understand his own motivations! Next of course, Jack gets the eyeful that he’s just barely missed so many other times… nice interaction between Jack and Cher on the motorcycle afterwards. I like that Jack is being honest about his concern, yet seems to be cautiously supportive. So, what trouble is Thoop about to get into? It doesn’t look good… but no hints from the preview for next week, which just looks like more hijinks, and the entire office all finally seeing these two in fully attached mode. Anyway, I was glad for the jokes and cute moments along the way! Not taking this show seriously, nope, not me! Thanks for your warmth and mirth on the screen Josie!

Ugh...they are soo fuq'n cute! I just have no complaints...Force/Book aer just so damn cute I can't stand it. the scene at Laem's apartment when they cuddled and Laem all smiles I swear I felt like the Grinch and my heart grew 2 sizes too big...LOL. I just really appreciate having a light hearted show to watch a Friday that not full of angst needless drama. I can honestly say this show has become like comfort food and I haven't so far, been dissatified or upset at the end of each episode like I have for some other shows.

Thoop I’m really trying to figure out why is all his anger going towards Cher? Is it me or did anyone think the resort they stayed at was Gun resort that he’s doing construction at? This series is so cute…did anyone notice the mole Porsche dropped out the picture since the game went live?

Sweet episode. Thoop was being foul mouthed but I understand. He walks in on a man kissing Cher and Cher was supposed to love his sister Tian. Must have shocked Thoop. Interesting that at the end Thoop apologized for interrupting. Thoop is so adorable and I too worry what he will now get involved with.

Cute episode. I agree Tita Josie, I was also wondering when Cher would stop calling Gun boss and also I am trying to understand why Thoop got so mad. I am gonna chalk it up to being young as evidenced by him immediately going out and choosing to do even more harm to himself because he's angry. I sure hope he doesn't get into too much trouble or Cher will surely blame himself. We have 5 episodes left and we have the unresolved mole issue, Thoop's issue and Cher's relationship uncertainty issue to tackle. I hope we also get some more 😍 😊 cuteness, sweetness and fluffiness in good measure to offset any impending drama.

Gun shirtless is everything 😍😍😍💋

I think Thoop bought into the town rumors that Cher was the baby daddy and accepting all that Cher does for him as punishment. I don’t think Cher ever clarified to him, that is was unrequited love. So, I see Thoop behavior almost as a punishment, is like he expects for Cher to be alone and suffer ‘for what he thinks C did to his sister’

TitaJosie

It's definitely better than I expected it would be too, so I'm glad we have it every Friday! 🥰💖

I'm guessing that Thoop probably partially blames Cher for his sister's death. 👀😬

Hmm. I’ll have to think about that re: Thoop placing some blame on Cher for Tian’s death… and also that it might be Gun’s resort is interesting — they are back there next week! (Josie you wondered where it was filmed this time — yes, they went back to Pattaya, south of Pattaya City this time, to the Ravindra Beach Resort & Spa. Why didn’t Force take us there too?!)
