Okay, I’m expecting we’re going to share some laughs on this AFTER all the front-loaded ads, as it seems Suzukis don’t work in the past… even, as they noted, a convenient car makes it so easy to get around! Okay, pressing play…

So, first off, if Nueng misses Thai food so much while studying, he could transfer to the UofT; we have some excellent Thai restos here in Toronto, and in fact I have a reservation at one tonight and I can’t wait to dig into their Massaman Curry! Num num num! We’ll each be peeling our own shrimps though… Drinks at Palm’s bar must be outrageously expensive for him to have got the car and the resto! Just what is he putting in them?!?!?! Yes, Pond looks great as our baron… and it’s nice to see Phum crawling on the floor! Yaasss! Anyway, Pond is born to play royalty, as fas as I’m concerned! So of course Palm does not have the play-the-roles thing down when Neung is brought to him. Nueng’s always been quicker on the uptake. Tonight when I get picked up to head to the resto, I’m gonna pull a Nueng and pretend my driver is just some Uber and not my BFF, at least at first, until he kisses me. Interesting to learn that ‘faen’ is a modern Thai word. Were emotional attachments only invented in the last few decades though?! Phum! Go lick the dirt courtyard clean! The master-servant turnabout here is really cute, love how Palm quotes a little early Nueng back at him! Funny to see our awkward Singapore architect colleague of Pran’s has also been transported into the past, but looking for trinkets instead of boyfriends this time! Where is that guy’s accent from, Poland maybe? Chain of Hearts, hmm… did I hear wrong, Josie? I don’t see an entry for that in mydramalist. Anyway, whoever this is, he’s also missing from the MDL entry for the Bad Buddy cast, so I don’t know his name. I agree that Neung is a wizard. Seriously though, Pond is great when imperious, like shouting down Petch/Phum. Not that story-wise Pond's imperiousness will make it go any more smoothly for them... So episode 2 looks fun. Love the teaching of the servants to read, and English, well, beyond progressive! I hope when they arrive back in the current day, that they’ve meddled with the timeline enough that same sex marriage is now legal in Thailand. Why not?!

What was up with Palm not answering his calls or text? This was a cute episode, and I’m sure it’s gonna work out next week for them. And they’ll finally break the curse and be together. I just think it was silly and fun and I laughed a lot.

It was cute but wasn't feeling the whole time travel thing. However, their thing is being chased by bad guys so I guess it worked.

They can do no wrong in my jaded book. Was it silly? Yes…Was it realistic? No, but who cares…definitely not me. Best thing with PalmNeungdiao is to just go with the flow and not overanalyze and enjoy their beauty.🤗

Very interesting with time travel theme. While I don't accept time travel, I do accept multiple lifetimes as I believe you do also Tita, not to mention also multiverses. I like the role switching in this mini series. BTW - The foreigner in this episode's voice sounded like the character Max who was working with Pran in Singapore in Bad Buddy and asked Pran to be his date.

I had a difficult time with the lack of excitement and expressions from Nueng. Even if upset for the missed calls. You are seeing your loved one after a long time. Almost rejecting Palms advances. 🫠

Yeah I wasn't a fan of his attitude either. If that was me, no matter how pissed I was, I would have melted the moment I saw Palm's "Welcome back my boyfriend" sign. 👀😬😅

Tita Josie I too was like you in thinking am I really watching a never let me go time travel episode, the answer was yea I guess I am lol. Welp I do wish they'd both use more caution with their actions in the past but oh well.
