The ending was awful. I'm left scratching my head. It felt like a canceled show in the U.S., thinking they were getting another season, but they weren't, so they just pulled something together. The fact that Din just disappeared after killing the mayor was unsatisfying. I feel for his family. I don't like open endings but at least he's still alive and I guess Ken went to meet him? I know the production company is new and so is the director. He’s like a Jack of all trades, actor, acting coach and other stuff. Why would they trust a big show like this to him? Plus I think also the screen writer has wrote some bad shows in the past.

summary of this series: potential but an average result and what about this last episode? it's as if something was missing, as if a certain scene had been cut during editing, but not in the best way! that's a shame

My thought is Ken & Din are in Taipei were Ken seemed to be in the beginning of the series. Does leave us hanging. Ken seems content in the end so they must be together. Check the pilot for Two Worlds which seems as intriguing as Chains of Heart.

I was annoyed that Ken and Din did not have any conversation this episode. It felt like there was a lack of resolution to most things.

Tita Josie I was so waiting for your reaction to see if you had the same look of disbelief on your face when it ended. I'm hoping there's a special episode or season 2 because the ending was so anticlimactic. Also I was so tickled at the gunfight and knife scenes as apparently no one can shoot a gun; moreover a lot of times when he slit throats there should be a slash mark on the neck and blood splatter but there was none. Lastly, when Ingpha was holding Sai as soon as Din sat down I noticed he wasn't holding Sai properly, the hostage is normally used as a shield but that whole side was open and what happened to Sai when Ingpha was initially shot. Oh well no matter, overall I really enjoyed the series, the ending just left me feeling unfulfilled. P.s.s. I also noticed the same underwear thing as well.

I was so disappointed and Mr Lue was charged with murder and never seen again. What a bullshit ending. I’m sorry that’s horrible. I’m just furious. They better be giving us a special episode with him showing up for the sister’s wedding. I am so mad because I loved this show it was so interesting and mysterious but the writers they fell short on the ending.

I had such high hopes for this series. I loved it. It was so interesting and mysterious, kept us guessing and trying to find out answers to all the questions but then they failed to bring it together. And these writers, I don’t know what they were thinking, I could’ve wrote a better ending myself. I was disappointed

Agreed. I felt like episodes 5-7 could have been combined together. The ending just seemed all rushed. We really needed 2 more episodes

I also think (rather say hope) the reason for this ending might be because of a special they are planing, this end for sure will give them lower score in MDL and it disappointed me a lot. I kept watching this series hoping for the best but I do not feel satisfied.

Well, I agree with all of the comments above. I was also in shock at the “ending,” if that was what it was. I guess we can only assume that they met up at the wedding?

Everyone said everything needed. I agree with the comments. BUT were the last few disjointed scenes the real answer to the question of if they got together? Seemed to me they met up in a hotel and then the friends found them? Just a thought.

I think when Peter at the bridge told Ken ‘Din is dead’ he meant it. Din seems to have been taken by his thirst for vengeance. And he did become a murder, they were not set out a mafia people, so him killing Ingham, having all the evidence at hand and him impaired already, was murder. Ken knew it too, and what it mean that’s why he tried to stop Din. So i understand the parting ways after this, even though the love between them. Even if Din had actually died in the process it would still be a better ending. I could have bought into that ending if at least they gave the couple a last good scene, they needed it to make the separation even more meaningful.

I thought there was some kind of meaning too, but they are all stills from prior episodes. The only new shots are the part where he goes to the airport (product placement) but it’s also edited in way right before the last time he arrived to BKK. So we don’t know if image is traveling for the wedding or is his prior flight. The other one was Ken making at unanswered … another product placement.

I mean, they did show Peter giving USBs with evidence to some people, so surely they could have used that in court and he could have been made a star witness? He really shouldn't have been charged with anything after everything he went through. 👀😬

I'm guessing that yes, the last few scenes were to show us that although Din is in hiding, Ken knows where he is (Vietnam?) and regularly sees him. Maybe. 🤔😅

Yeah, and since Din basically assumed Peter's life (looks, etc.) and would probably never have surgery to go back to looking like he did as Din, he was right to say that Din was dead. Still, it would have been nice to see Ken and Din at least talk to each other or something in the finale. 👀😬 I would have been OK if Din died in the end too, but since Ingpha's henchmen were so bad at shooting stationary objects, there was no way that was going to happen. Lolol. 😝😅
