Tita Josie, this is definitely 1 of the best Japanese BL I've watched. It may be a slow burn but the progression and growth of Yukata, from overcoming his trauma with family (I find it really healthy how they tied up this loose end), to accepting his feelings for Minoru and now making the jump to happiness was done so well. Kodus to the writer. The scene with Yukata with Minoru's dad about taking the risk of losing in loving, struck me the most. I am going through issues comparable to this, and it really changes my POV. Such a heartwarming story of love, family and food. Thanks for sharing your time and reactions. Really appreciate it!!

I truly enjoyed this one. It warmed my heart. I love how it was the father who basically ‘proposed’ to Yutaka to become a family. It also came full cycle why Tane always called him YuKata. Like the city where the family ‘started’ with mama Mika.

Hi Tita, Thanks for this one! This is also a favorite bl now for me too...it made my list! It was a simple story without the useless "silly girls" and "silly pack of friends". I found that to be a very good thing. The dad in this series was really a great character and the actor who had the part was superb to me. He was so real and believable. I hope Love Tractor can step in and fill this void.

Loved this precious drama till the end and the conversation with Minoru's dad was the chef's kiss. I'm glad we didn't have any unnecessary I'm breaking up drama and Tane is just the cutest.
