ZhongYi's Dad had me crying. He feels so guilty because he was used to force his son's decision to go to jail. But the smile of pride he had when he found out about the bakery was heartwarming. AiDi will never make anything easy for ChenYi. He really thinks that drunk night and going to jail was his only chance to express his love for ChenYi. Jheruei is super calm. I hope he's just playing along but something triggers his memory when they see each other next week.

I admit I cried during the scenes with ZhongYi and his family. So much pain they have endured yet they still remain optimistic. Just wow. I love AiDi. Seriously just want to put him in my pocket and keep him safe. His walls are high and thick but I hope he finally clears the air with ChenYi. And can someone please take down the Fan family? I bet they sent someone to kill ZhongYi because they consider him a threat to their plans for Jherui. And I think Jherui remembers but is playing the long game. Man, I love this show.

ZhongYi's story is so sad through no fault of his own. It's good that he's so positive about it and resolute and firm in his choices and ready to move on. The scene with the dad had me teary-eyed. I'm still on fence if Jherui really has amnesia or pretending or had it at some point and regained it. We'll be able to see next week when they run into each other. I can't wait. Ai Di totally took that opportunity to run away from his problems while at same time taking on the burden of guilt from Chen Yi but as you said Tita Josie, totally not acting mature 😉 now.
