My limited exposure to both early and straight GMMTV series means that the *only* other series I’ve seen these two co-lead is Not Me,which I thought was great, and it, and subsequent viewing of many other series cemented in my mind that these two are among the very, very best of GMMTV’ s actors, and actually, Gun may the best of all of them. I get that this was a light fun series on purpose… …but I think these two were wasted here. They were fine, but they’re capable of so much more, and these too-thinly written characters and often lazily-written situations were not worthy of these two. It was all pleasant enough, but I’ll forget this one pretty quickly and I doubt I’ll ever re-watch it. That said, I’m looking forward to The Trainee later this year. While nowhere near as serious as Not Me, the teaser for The Trainee seemed to have more going for it than this entire series had. I hope I’m right about that! I looked forward to Aungpao and Neo’s story every week, as least as much if not more than Off and Gun’s, and while this two are taken care of with The Trainee, and no doubt Neo will pop up here, there, and everywhere, i really hope we see Aungpao again soon, and they find him a memorable series to make his mark in!

I agree. I first met Off and Gun in Not Me and they were amazing. What a disappointment when I learned that their normal on screen and fan meet schtick is Gun as a kind of baby boy with Off as his "Papi." Ugh. Gun played not one but *two* bad ass characters in Not Me. I wish they'd do challenging material again. I mean I'm fine with a light series (Looking at You, Cherry Magic Thailand) but the OffGun version of fluff is just not my cup of tea (even if Off is super hot in those glasses). And yes, I think Neo can be relied upon to pop up here, there and everywhere :)
