BoC Act 2: Logs 2 is ready. I’m glad I sat on this one for a couple of days, because it was pretty bad and needed a redo. This does have a Battlenet section, where I’d like to get some patron contributions to spice it up. Since it's late, that will be tomorrow. Details to follow. its funny that Lee brought up the bit about telepathy helping him feel that the world is real. I just had the talk with a friend about the pokemon world and how Aura is such a massive thing but so few know about it. Aura might be that missing sense and not telepathy. Which is while because isn't that what Lee is chasing when it comes to Infinite Energy?

I read that part of the human brain fonctions as an empathy mirror, making us feel what we percieve from other people. Not truly feeling what they feel, but reflecting what we think they feel based on contextual clues, personnal experience, and body language. And that it is needed for us to form groups and function as societies. What Lee talks about here is a solution for that and thus the Descartes' conundrum : without senses, how can I know that I exist ? That the wolrd exists and people too ? His solution (I think therefore I am) is here built upon and answers another everyday lie that we live with. If I do not know that other people have a mind, are they people, are they real, do they truly exist ? The mirror function our brain has solves this problem by making us feel what it imagines their emotions are, thus they exist as much as us. At least, we are used to think so. But Lee and Nine telepathy solves this : they know each other are real. Red is not just the name of a lenghtwave of light that was agreed upon, they can check what eachother sees it as. Is it the same, percieved color ? Are we truly seeing the same thing ? They have the answer. They think, the other thinks, therefore they both exist and what each feel must exist too if it is the same. Way to blow our mind, Fuggmann. Wasn't expecting existancialism, really. Thanks :)

Man, I feel so much sympathy for Lee dealing with the trolls, be a nightmare for me. Also nice to get a few more details on Sylveon. I feel like Nigel's reactions might be a shade too negative, though - I think Lee's earned a little more faith by this point.
