This is a real turning point I think. What the child sacrifices to protect his mother. I am hurting because from an abusive marriage I remember what I sacrificed and endure to protect my children as much as I could. We escaped before they had to turn to make sacrifices for me but it hurts thinking about it.

I did another reread of some stuff and I’m predicting that Shoto promises to join the gang if Hiro doesn’t touch Sakura because earlier in the the last present chapter Shoto says if Hiro didn’t find out about him being bullied then he wouldn’t have been forced to join the gang… just my theory that something like that will happen.
