Dear PatronsHere is the preview of the latest Honest Government Ad we've cooked up!(Preview) MInority Government | Honest Government AdI'll have more to say about this episode when we publish the final video. Suffice to say for now, this is part of our mission to help voters better understand how our voting system and Parliament works, ahead of the coming election - which will very likely result in a minority government. (Hopefully, a Labor minority government). As always, you're the first ones to hear it, so please let me know if you have any feedback on the audio/script. Keeping in mind that some things will only make sense when you can see the full video (such as the CHAOS at around the 00:56 mark!)PS. I am taking suggestions for the Authorised-by message at the end, so please let me know if you have any good suggestions in the comments :)I'll catch you very soon with the final video!Giordano

Oh FMD! You mean we might get a Democracy..? I thought Governments were meant to be run by Old Fat White Guys pissing in each other's pockets behind closed doors! Well Done. 👍

Scott Paladino

This can apply to the US in so many ways. We just don’t ever seem to have a way to bring the minor parties into the actual government. Authorized by The Department Of Tantrums and Emotional Dysfunction sounds about right

Love it! 🥰 Thank you. 🙏🏼

Careful now! We in America have a minority Government now, millionaires and Billionaires and it don’t look good from here! Sold a car to the President on the front lawn of the Whitehouse, who needs lobbyists? Oh and soon we will be a much bigger country as we annex Greenland, Canada Mexico, most likely Venezuela and Ukraine. Just getting started on the new Kingdom, that’s right leaped over Empire to Rex Munro king of the World. So go minority and you might just become a Native Amer can do it for natural law. Naturally we can kick your ass and steal , uhh buy your natural resources. Good luck with that election. Sending thoughts and prayers. Can you say nuclear option? Don’t look now but Israel is probably in the house and believe me they’re like the thing that wouldn’t leave. There’s a minority Government and ask any Palestinians how that’s working out, uhh got to go I hear a knock on the door or was that the roof?

Brought to you by the two party system that actively condones corruption, being captured by donors and being told what to do by billionaires.

Looking forward to the visuals! 🤗🤗

Authorized by Lying Sacks of Shit Do I sound bitter? Well our DShit Lite party here in the US just caved to MAGA. We and the world are in DEEP SHIT! Sent this to my Senators (each US state has two. Schumer is the DShit Lite Senate minority leader who lead the cave. Again in six months is because that is when the US Government will next face a shutdown.): Subj: BOHICA? Replace Schumer! If Ds BOHICA, Putin’s MAGA Party will rape us now and again six months from now. Replace Schumer today! Schumer’s fear of what MAGA would do during a shutdown makes zero sense! If that is what MAGA wanted to do MAGA would be shutting down the government.

Mark - We have minority rule in the US due to many factors the main one being gerrymandering. The RShits are in the majority in the House, Senate and they have the Oval Office. All the Orange Hitler has is a gerrymandate. My conclusion is that the parliamentary system is far superior to the US first-past-the-post system that virtually guarantees that no third party will ever with the White House or enough seats to control, or even be a factor in the House or Senate. That's assuming we ever again have a free and fair election. . . .

hmmm... brought to you by The Community Coalition Movement or maybe... Authorized by The Fair Dinkum Community Coalition Movement

Unfortunately, Truth in political advertising will never work, Anne Twomey explains it well on Constitutional clarion. Basically, they will deliberately make a false ad and tie up their opponent's time and money in court instead of on the campaign. This would really hurt the independents who have very limited staff and finances.

Stuart Carroll

It's ok, Nostradamus predicted this would happen. He said a Western power will turn authoritarian, but it will only last 4 years and the people will crush it.

thejuicemedia

Thanks Stuart, I haven't seen the details of the proposed act, but if it leaves it up to individuals to fund their legal battles, I don't see how it would be any different to what we already have. I assumed it would include funding and resources to ensure that cannot happen. But sure, if it's badly drafted legislation that intentionally disadvantages Independents, that would certainly be a problem

thejuicemedia

The US has a minority government? Mark, maybe we have a different definition of what minority government means? Republicans seem to have a majority in all branches of government

thejuicemedia

Yeah, the problem in the US is the voting system! We have the good voting system, but it's not enough - we also need people to better understand how to use it!

Mark william lane

Bad attempt at humor as the financial elites are far fewer then us yet control all branches of government More like being lead by disorganized crime syndicate than a Republic.

Scott Paladino

How is your constitution structured to create the possibility of minority government?
