Dear Patrons, here's the latest Honest Government Ad you've helped us to produce. I don't say this lightly, I reckon this one of the most important ones we've made. See, when I started working on this HGA, I thought it was going to be a really depressing topic. But I was so wrong! I am SO inspired to learn that we're on the cusp of a HUGE renewables boom in Australia - like, it's literally happening *despite* the Government's lack of leadership (which is a good thing, coz if the fate of humanity ever depended on them we'd all be screwed)The problem however, is that the Federal Govt could still delay the inevitable transition by more than a decade if it manages to implement its current NEG policy. So we really need as many people as possible to know, and get excited about, how close we are to making history happen! Which is why I feel this HGA is so important. I also wanted to let you know that, thanks to the success of this series, more and more awesome people are offering their expertise to help me improve my work. For this video, I had the privilege of talking to experts in the Renewables and transition industry, who were extremely generous with their time. I love it when this happens and it gives me renewed hope for what we can achieve with this project - which, thanks to you, is helping to frame the discourse and raise awareness about some of the most important issues of our times.
