Australian Government...fluent in "c#ntenese" ...perfect! Love your work team! ❤️💯😎👍

LaughingBubba

Hilarious and totally on the mark!

Michael Wallace

How about a line about planning without any modelling (a.k.a. a fucking clue) 😂

Peter Todd

Absolutely wonderful, at least 3 LOLs were had :) Great (and timely) work team

Spadge

Would be awesome if you could get Led By Donkeys (twitter handle @ByDonkeys) to do a projection in Glasgow at the same time.

Chris Rains

Great job, it’s all there in 3 minutes.

Oliver Kunz

Awesome work guys - Like Always - - - Love you over the moon and back. As a German I am particularly proud of you for "Fick Dich ins Knie". Great awesome outrageous shitfuckery.

Richard Barnes

Great 3 minutes. Can't stress enough that we are currently 'meeting and beating' 26% purely on the basis of trees not cut down; without that accounting chicanery, thanks to Howard's infamous 'clause 3.7', our emissions are actually greater then in 2005

Diana Beere

Love this, especially the way it gets stuck into our government while not letting others off the hook. I so wish they'd stop buying our coal and gas! Oh, and I second the suggestion above re Led By Donkeys.

Robert Bismuth

Brilliant! I've been waiting for it - was sure you'd comment on COP26 as soon as I heard your gov't would be attending. Figured it was too big an even for them to miss the opportunity to give out the clammy handshakes, speak weasel words with forked tongues and sniff around for more fossil fuel sales ops. BTW did you catch the interview of the PM of Norway by the BBC in which she bragged that Norway didn't really use fossil fuel (hydro power, high percentage of EVs, etc.) and that there was no reason for Norway to reduce oil exports as what people did outside of Norway with oil was not Norway's business? I guess they have their own closed loop ecology and so don't need to worry about anything the rest of the world does with the oil they pay Norway for as it can't penetrate their private ecosystem (or her skull ...). Sheeeesh.

thejuicemedia

Yeah to be fair Norway is in a totally different class to Australia on climate - but since they make out to be such leaders, I thought it would be nice to point out their massive gas exports (9th in the world)

MacheteGirlMagazine

Absolutely love it how you call out everyone. Also may need an "Aww Sweetheart" T-shirt lol! Well done guys once again! And the Blah Blah Blah was a great touch!

John L Smith

Brilliantly done as usual. And it’s really needed right now. Brave rebels from Extinction Rebellion are being arrested protesting on the “protest lawn” outside Parliament House in Canberra over the climate crisis and the government’s lack of response. We need everyone to help in this existential battle for the future of our children.

Bunga

Just adding to the 3 new coal mines that Susssan's approved, there are now 50 new coal projects planned, 5 already being constructed and 45 in the pre construction phase.

Param Berg

Refreshingly thoughtful commentary gracefully delivered, as ever. Love it!

marcus collins

The Australian gov decides to Cop Out of Cop26 .... Great work JuiceMedia team

Michael Block

The only part of their policy response that is fully developed and funded is the press release, the advertising budget and the photographer that the Prime pooMuncher is taking to Glasgow

Patrick Naidoo

Great presentation, but I personally would refrain from mentioning the hypocrisy of other countries like Norway, Russia etc as this tends to let the Australian government off the hook; I would also exclude the negative comment about the Australian electorate. While it is accurate, I don't know if stating it achieves anything. The technology to achieve net zero emissions exists right now (I worked as an engineer in power systems, and can supply details). The Coalition won't adopt this technology for ideological reasons.

Nemo Halperin

Depressingly accurate summation! Sometimes I feel that the absence of accurate scrutiny in the mainstream is like being the only sane person in the asylum trying to explain what's wrong and no one wants to listen...

Jon Gray

You've highlighted just how much this government is bearing down and expanding fossil fuel extraction as fast as they can. I think this emphasis is hugely important. We are so far from going in the right direction. State capture makes their actions seem logical. Awesome work. Presented a thoroughly complete synopsis in three minutes with humour, class and a hint of the burning rage so many of us are feeling. Thank you.

Kim Hillier

Cuntanese. There is finally a label.

David Crepaz-Keay

Quite right to not let other cuntries [sic] off the hook. UK currently much keener to encourage international travel, particularly holidays, rather than, say, saving the planet or reducing virus spreading...

Audrey Barucchi

Oh I want a ‘The Australian Way’ t-shirt! 😌

Mark D Larsen

Bingo…! Pure cuntanese…! One needs a dick-tionary to translate it.

Ben

I have tuned out more than a couple of times over the years to regain some calm. Only to return and find the same ongoing shit-f#!*ery in a different Sunday best suit. Thank you for re-instilling a sense of being able to do something about the standard I walk past, when it is total shit. Also for making me proper laugh 😂 🍻

ess

So sad. So true

ess

........ correctly identifies ongoing international demand for our fossil exports lying at the root of pace of transition .....

ess

....... though link must be made at this point how developing countries need the help of major exporters & historically big emitters to fund their more rapid transition away

Daniel

no ess; no more ifs, buts, or maybes ...... get it done !!!!!!
