Having just listened to this podcast, https://www.loe.org/shows/segments.html?programID=24-P13-00004&segmentID=3 , on 'The New Climate Denial' it occurs to me that this might be fertile ground for a 2024 vid. Calling out the shitfuckery that appears to be a coordinated global effort to deflect, diffuse and defeat humanity's concerns on its survival, strikes me as an endeavor worthy of consideration.

You do awesome work in telling the truth. I just posted a blog on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 60th meeting which set their science work program for the 7th assessment cycle for the next 5 years. The IPCC is made up of government representatives and scientists. While the work authorised is highly important, there tends to be conservatism in governance which is political. Some scientists were pushing for a Special report on Catastrophic climate change this cycle. This is an area identified with minimal peer reviewed knowledge. A blindspot. But such a report was not authorised by the government representatives. So we will continue to have a blind spot on the worst case screnarios, on the low probability but high impact climate processes and impacts. One needs to understand IPCC governance is by member states. Member states representatives approve each Summary for Policymakers report line by line.

The only thing better than small kids is small grandkids! It just dawned on me that you'all have been on Summer vacation! The RShit party here in the USA has lost its way and wants a "Christian" Nationalist Theocracy much like Gilead. If the MAGIDIOTS get control the world is fracked! Putin will defeat Ukraine and with MAGA abandoning NATO Putin will continue on his quest to reestablish the USSR. China will take Taiwan and continue south. I was wondering throughout the first half of the video "They have kids now, so where are they, and how do they even do this with kids???" ...and then, BOOM. Ha! So sweet. :) Mine are grownish now (homeschooled till high school with juice media as part of the curriculum!) and the oldest was just listening to you guys over my shoulder and asking what was up in your world now. Giordano & team, what about a video of the incompetence of the lectic companies etal, in their strategic planning fro the reditrubition of electicity with household generation feeding back, The govt gace solar reabtes from 2006 but 17 years later they have not made any progress. Installing EV chagrers aor charging fro cars in aprtment block tkaes 18 months planning fo the first and somewha similiar fro aprtment block. Who in the elctic organiation has been doing planning. They borrowed 40 billion from the government for interstate connections, fto play the SPOT market, and our bills went to pay the interest on that before they finished building. And of course the SA Big battery shot that down in flames , upto $10,000 on the spot market fro 1 Megawatt, then after the SA baterry down to $284 a 1 megawatt. Expose the strategic incompetence of these companies. They should be done for fraud. send it to all the greens , teals minimally!

Giordano & team Please do a video on the incompetence of the Electrical supply companies. The Govt gave rebates for solar from 2006 and yet all they can say is they don't have the infrastructure to support the reverse energy flows from households etc. They have had 17 years to plan and build and they have achieved nothing. It take 18 months to get a substation to put in a couple of EV chargers. Apartment block wanting to install multiple charging outlets have the same delay issue, having to wait for more substations etc. Electric car sales went up about 24% last year. I can't even legally put a cable across my footpath to charge my car! Expose this incompetence for what it is, people should be fired and money given back to all consumers. About 2013/14 our bills increased because the electric companies wanted to install more interstate interconnects so they could sell money on the SPOT market (Enron?),Spot prices were at about $10,000 for 1 megawatt at peak time. The SA battery put that to shame as the priced dropped to about $280 a megawatt. They borrowed about $40 billion from the government, our bills went before they got the money because they said "they /(we) had to pay interest on the loan". Also examine how the connect cost keeps rising, i believe my company put it up 28% so that our measly 6 cents a kilowatt never pays it off. And they sell my green solar at a mark up because its green. There should be a Royal Commission, and severe penalties on all management (past and present) of the electricity supply companies. They have committed fraud and theft against all Australians. Perhaps also look how large companies negotiate their electricity bills downwards (because of how much they use), making the people pay more Community battery storage also has to be owned by them...what a farce. Look Local Volts on the web, not sure it works but worth a look. regards Chrisj - Producer
