Does Joyce even have a plan on how to acquire alcohol underaged? I know Joyce means well, but as a depressant, alcohol (and hangovers in particular) can just make funks or creeping depression or whatever this is worse. Joyce, Dorothy’s therapist wouldn’t approve of this choice. You’re disappointing Dorothy’s therapist.

Joyce may be thinking of alcohol's disinhibition effect, to get Dorothy talking. As for obtaining alcohol, she may be thinking of going to Jennifer, who is no longer likely to have any. Ruth has been seen providing alcohol to Dorothy, but Joyce wouldn't know that, and Dorothy isn't going to tell.

I bet "fudgin' sloshed" in Joyce-speak refers to either some kind of milkshake/slush-like sweet beverage I'm not familiar with because I'm not American or she just means go outside and make snowangels or something

A lot of comments here are treating Joyce with the exact same "you can't know what that is it's not in your approved box" attitude that both Sarah and Dorothy have been guilty of applying to Joyce recently. Yeah it is surprising to hear from Joyce but I don't think she doesn't know what she is saying
