Dotty if you want to get Joyce’s titty out there’s other scenarios

Who are they going to run into, do you think?

Packy Anderson

Wait... are the stairs up to that billboard the stairs Mike fell from?

Comfort sadly comes second to style for many social gatherings...

Harold

How about Amazi-Girl, would-be scourge of underage drinkers? (Except they both now know she and Amber occupy the same body.)

Joyce's reply in panel 4 is exactly what Dorothy needs to hear. I hope she's listening.

The billboard gets the borderless panel, and the next panel has the billboard's-eye view of Joyce and Dorothy, with Joyce looking up at the Christian message. Some threads that I can see: 1. Dorothy is quite aware of her urge to protect Joyce, and automatically invokes mac and cheese as the symbol of comfort and safety for Joyce. 2. Joyce knew that Dorothy's need to protect her would get her to come along. 3. Joyce is determined to transgress actual laws, not just restrictions from her upbringing. Does she actually want the ethanol? 4. In the last two panels, Dorothy at least helps Joyce stick to the plan, even if Dorothy disapproves of the plan. 5. Dorothy actually took Jason's book with her. No, I have no prediction of what's going to happen. It's probably not going to be unproblematic admission to the bar, followed by moderate drinking and a good chat between friends, but that *could* happen, right?

I like that Joyce is trying to get Dorothy to stop worrying about taking care of her. It's something Dorothy can use.

I love this storyline so much!

Feels like Joyce set the odds so that no matter what happens, she can spin it into a victory

Can the bonus comic for April show Carla putting makeup on these two?

The Balloon Animal

Don't worry Joyce, Jesus DEFINITELY drank before he was 21

I'm not sure the WWJD argument holds so much weight with Joyce these days
