Dan Rabin

The view rectangle of the last panel just barely overlaps that of the first panel, so that the strip starts with Dorothy and leaves with Becky without the camera moving at all.

Harold

I love that Dorothy can apparently feel The Burning Eyes of MacIntyre upon her without looking.

Sajuuk-Khar

“I COULDA DONE SO MANY SHOTS, DOTTY”

Dan Rabin

I think Dan Rabin may be a bit off-target here. The contrast seems to be between Becky being jealous about Joyce doing college wildness without her (which is what Dorothy assumes), and Joyce being drunk and physical with Dorothy (which Becky may well fear). The strip at the link actually suggests that Becky would prefer Joyce-with-Joe to any level of Joyce-with-Dorothy.

BBCC

The RUDENESS to not invite her

Bagge

Masterfull callback to all the times Joyce (or Dina or Amber) lurks with only half their head visible. Becky pulls of the never before seen resentful lurking

Shane Wegner

*single ominous low contrabass note* Your Rivalry has increased from Level 3 (Revengeance) to Level 4 (Sworn to Retribution).

Amós Batista

"may the becky be with you" I laughed here. Where do I live, "Becky" it's a slang for weed.

Sajuuk-Khar

Kudos to Willis for a strip where the preview panel from Tumblr made me go “uh oh” turning out to be really funny

Ellen N. K.

I like the colour scheme for this one.

Harold

@Sajuuk-Khar: Yes! I had the same reaction. The preview panel made it look like we were simply going to get a smash cut from Happy!Horny! Joyce/Joe to StillSad!StillLonely! Dorothy, and instead we got Peeved!Becky and Zen!Dorothy. I will say that Dorothy should probably let Becky know that she's no longer the only one who knows the Secret Yale Secret (although I think Becky's still the only person to whom she's opened up about her specific reasoning, which makes sense since it directly involves her).
