Don’t make her Muad’Dib you, Roz, you would not want to see Dorothy’s version of breaching the shield wall (it probably involves your emotions Or taxes)

Gale Tazzin

every time Roz shows up it's character development for everyone else

Dan Rabin

The fact that Dorothy walks on past Roz could have been conveyed without the change of perspective in panel 2, but then we couldn't have gotten the expression on Dorothy's face as Roz delivers some snark that doesn't apply anymore. Now that Joyce knows, Dorothy has no further use for the pretense.

Aeryn Monet

unsolicited judgement is why everyone likes Roz, it's a highly charismatic trait everyone should have

DonnieRamesJio

Thats actually a solid method to find good food in the town

Ryan Malcolm

Wasn't the last time Roz and Joyce interacted Roz yelling at Joyce?

Roz is the sort of person who would post without irony “if you own throw pillows you’re part of the bourgeoisie”

Dumbass Prediction: knowing that everyone has ideas about Joe as sex monster, Dorothy makes it her mission to swat rumors and act as their omnipresent bodyguard as long as her BFF and sapphic crush is with the sexual tyrannosaurus, she will be there, to tell people to shut up, it’s not how you think, actually I’m three times the slut Joyce is, Joe has real emotions and I can prove it, I will kick a chair (Of course, this is based on the probably false idea that Joyce is like, a minor campus Insta influencer lmao)

Their last interaction was in the shower room, when Roz walked in and overheard Joyce masturbating; Joyce tried to ask her for advice on how to be "sexually shameless (COMPLIMENTARY!)" and she walked out.

My headcanon (and I doubt it's much of a stretch) is that Roz finds Joyce fascinating; I think she recognizes that Joyce is becoming a different person, far removed from the supposedly naive fundie about whom Roz formed a snap judgment when they first met (of course, Joyce also instantly judged HER), and she respects that. In fact, Joyce has always been different; Roz started to realize that when, in spite of their differences and bitter arguments, Joyce invited her to the dorm party and more or less explicitly told her it was because she knows she can trust Roz to be exactly who she is around her, and that she needs to be challenged sometimes. Roz probably still sees Joyce as an oddity, but at a certain level she can't stop thinking about her.

Well said. This is odd, given Dorothy’s animosity towards Joe the last two years, but I think it’ll lead to Dorothy and Joe basically becoming friends (and possibly more) later. I would like Roz to back Dorothy up here.

Andrea Andrew

Gotta love the backhanded compliment from Roz. It reminds us that she’s a more intelligent and leftist version of her sister.

Has Roz ever interacted with Raidah? I've always been curious as to what that kind of interaction would look like.

I have faith that Roz would, after the outbreak of hostilities, eat her alive and everyone would clap Similar to Malaya. Are they abrasive personalities? Yes. Are they three thousand times cooler and more genuine than Raidah? Yes.
