Macareux Moine

Can't be Booster's - when this strip ran Walky was still rooming with Mike

Dread Pirate Robin

This is how it happened. This is how the Walky died.

Lagia Chris

wait how has she not heard about yoshi...actually any of the dinosaurs in the mario series? HOW?!

Cryptic

Nah, they're talking about that one mario game where your hat lets you turn into a literal giant t-rex and stomp through the stage.

Bluebirdscribbles

Waitasec walky has a switch but when booster arrives he marvels and glees that they brought a switch with them so that now they can game on it.

C

I should have seen this coming.

Simon Magid

WALKY should have seen this coming. o.o

lifeless1

Inevitable, but not forseen

Grace Serenity

And thus, Dina was gone from the rest of the strip, forever

Bagge

Wait, isn't that exactly what Dina has done with HER hat this entire comic?

Ido Merchav

allright that was AMAZINGGGGG

NickPG

Knife?

Pyper_13

Where do you see a phone? I only see a Switch!

K the Nerd

"DOES. IT. HAVE. FEATHERS."

Michelle

I wonder what Dina thinks of Yoshi?

Airyu

Of course Walky got the red and blue controllers

Maude Reads Things

Oh thank god. I've never actually seen a switch before and I was wondering if that was a DS, a phone, or what.

David M Willis

Honestly, without them, it's just a big black rectangle and doesn't read as quickly as a Switch.

Doomed

I needed this in my mind

Doomed

Best comic.

Eric Lusby

Sparkly-eyed Dina is the best thing ever drawn.

Grace Serenity

It's like a tablet, with a couple controllers attached to the sides

NinjaZaku

I was going to question why Walky has a switch but i realized how futile it is to question the timeline of his comic

Strangeshapes

I just realized Dina must be a regular fan of the webcomic "Manly Guys Doing Manly Things" for both the subversive humor and the fluffy velociraptors.

Fart Captor

He probably got one when they came out. A week or two from now in comic time he'll have ALWAYS had one. It is always NOW in comic, despite the different rate at which time passes. Eventually, Walky will be a retro gamer because their past will get dragged forward relative to our present. It's all very simple

Harmony Petersen

Whenever there's a scene change, my brain always adds a little narrator box that says [... and after an indeterminate amount of time has passed, we skip to the next highlight of their lives...] and for all I know, everyone is on their third semester since the comic has started, but in this parallel reality 8-16 years of college is standard and humans age slower due to better chemical management of food and water in addition to good universal healthcare.

Airyu

That's fair. I have the splatoon pink and green ones xD

PaperRabbits

I think that is booster's switch.

Bluebirdscribbles

Booster’s switch has a different color scheme no?
