Nice cinematic work!. The first three extremely narrow panels set up Jennifer's entry: two panels for picking the lock, and one for the opening door-crack illuminated from the hall. Note that there's room in the audio-only panels for the whole sequence of sound effects, but the dramatic timing would be off—I guess darkened-room drama has its own rule of three just as jokes do. The two pairs of eyes in panel 4 make a nice scary encounter, with only Jennifer illuminated by the light from the door. The encounter in panels 4 and 5 is a skillful mashup of two tropes: the unknown intruder (from Dina's point of view) and disturbing the fierce creature defending its cave. The last and largest panel makes a visual transition from slightly-bluish darkness and white light to a fuller selection of colors as we read from left to right, just as the *content* of the strip moves from the cinematic drama tropes to the world of the characters and the story being told. Jennifer, of course, is "hiding" the Amazi-Girl costume in Amber's room, as Sal persuaded her to do during the previous evening's karaoke party. She probably decided to pick the lock so as not to be caught in the hall in the middle of the night conspicuously knocking and waiting for someone to wake up and answer the door, and she thinks of the costume as "Sal's secret", not to be revealed to any third party. So it's sitcom yesterday and sitcom tomorrow, but suspense-movie today.

(unrelated, the TADC finale was *so* good. That crew really needs to tell more stories. Like, ASAP.) I'm told the fandom has adopted a form of dazzle camouflage, re: spoilers. Specifically: post false ones wherever possible. So, in the spirit of that, here are three things that surprised me. - Marcie's cameo went on a bit long. - Not as many live action segments as anticipated. - Letting Ryan Reynolds voice Jax for the first five minutes worked out as well as it could have, I suppose. - Not enough fish. - Too much Matt Damon.
