Astariel

So she did get stabbed by a cop! Mystery solved at last.

VengeanceKnight

…Wait. Does that mean they have her DNA?

Maybeeus

What do you MEAN the regenerative capabilities of Monkey D Luffy are entirely fictional? You can't just eat a cartoonish amount of food and make a miraculous full recovery? It takes TIME???

Andrea Andrew

More of Walky being oblivious to the law being more beneficial to the wealthy and white bigots. Amazi-Girl also keeps her top secured for reasons.

Kelly (they-them)

No, no, you can. But you need to have first eaten the gummy gummy fruit. It doesn't work if you haven't eaten a cursed fruit. That's the catch.

Logibear

"Hey Siri... do most cops carry hobby knives?" "Indiana does not restrict open carry of knives, or even the concealed carry of knives. In fact, there is no blade length limit for a knife being carried openly or in a concealed manner, due to this there are no legal requirements that would stop a police officer from carrying a knife, concealed or not " "... Jesus H Christ"

Packy Anderson

Eh, not much help if she's not in the system. t

Logibear

Instructions unclear, I'm now consuming every piece of fruit in a 10 mile radius

Packy Anderson

It looks it burst open in panel 5 of yesterday's strip when she landed flat on her back.

Astariel

They probably do, but I doubt Amber's DNA is in the system, and even if it is, it would take a couple real time decades for the test results to come back.

Andrea Andrew

Future Walky: she has huge melons. Bigger than both of my exes.

Spartacus

DNA is only going to be useful if they already have a sample on record tied to her. However, they could say that the person at the places they got matching dna was the same person, waiting in the wings for it to be tied to an identity

Dan Rabin

In a sitcom twist, they have swapped DNA with the cop.

Sajuuk-Khar

All cops are bastards, but some are worse bastards than others

Dan Rabin

Walky leans in to be helpful in both his panels, as Amazi-Girl gets up and refuses help. She holds Walky's over-garment closed—she feels differently about "nothing you haven't touched" than does Amber. And it's been sunrise-colors with on-screen open window curtains through the Asma/Angie and Walky/Amazi-Girl strips. Why show clocks or waste dialog space to fix time of day when you have a color palette and skill in using it?

Jamie (QueenofSodor)

i love this dorkish streak amazi-girl has where whenever she's put on the backfoot by something mundane, she starts acting like a cat who just fell off a table and is now putting on an "i meant to do that, this was completely intentional" performance. it's so cute <3

Tessea

Ouuuuch.... Well at least she wasn't shot.

Onyx

Doubtful. Probably wiped it off and stabbed someone else.

Lisa

Amber did stab Sal in the hand in front of a cop. So, maybe? Amber got away with it, but I'm not clear if that's in a "was questioned and let off" sense or just full on no questions asked.

Shane Wegner

Sleeping should restore all her HP/MP, and an eight hour rest can refill her spell slots!

MiqoRems

The stoners have been holding out on just how powerful gummies are.

Rob McBobson

See, where I live, you're not allowed to carry a knife with you if it can hurt people, unless you need the knife at that particular time. Like, you're not even allowed to have a bread knife for picnics in your car unless you're going on a picnic the exact day that the knife is in there. Just forgetting the knife in the car after coming home from the picnic, and finding it there when you're driving to work the next day, is a crime.

Preventer Wind

But collecting and running DNA is expensive and cops are lazy. Why take a DNA sample when you have both the stabber and stabbee in front of you? Case closed! Less paperwork

Avian

"It's a long story...so I got stabbed."

SmurfJuice

DNA is not as big of a help as cop shows make it out to be. Depending on how available it is at a crime scene, and how fresh and clean it is, it may take a very long time to process and not necessarily be reliable evidence due to contamination and degradation. A gut wound with a knife that has probably been used for other things? Not gonna be a very clean sample, most likely, regardless how fresh it is. Guy probably cleans his fingernails with it.

Andrea Andrew

Walky seems surprised that the police did this, even after the kidnappings and his parents turned out to be terrible people.

Rob McBobson

Someplace where we make absolutely, completely certain not to forget our bread knives in our cars. :)

thejeff

He doesn't seem that surprised to me

thejeff

This by the way is what I mean when I say I have "cat-like reflexes"

Lisa

Yikes. I hope Kitchen Doctor used a real good disinfectant.
