Willis would either create a new programing language just for DOA, or use an obscure seldom used language… he would not make a fictional language.

Is Willis a programmer? I mean, I know he made games when he was younger, but I never knew that he coded them. Plus, making a new programming language just for a comic? That's major CS geek territory.

Honestly, part of me wonders that still too. It doesn't look like Carla's seen it yet (or at least not her ranking - she didn't want to until she knew for sure everyone on her floor was having a crappier day than her) but she might not have needed to in order to release it into the wild. Really, all we know for sure is that Rachel vehemently denied it.

Now I'm trying to figure out what language the code Carla wrote is in. It looks like XML, but that's a <i>markup</i> language, not a <i>coding</i> language. Oh, God, I'd be right behind Amber and Rachel with a marker in my hand...

It looks a bit like XSLT to me. Written in XML? Check. Supports recursion? Check. Anything written in it is an abomination? Triple-check.
