NinjaZaku

I feel like there's a joke about Naruto here somewhere.

HenryVolt

Not a bad first talk with the father of the girl your possibly going to be nailing any day now.

Giant Speck

I wouldn't put it past Ross to make himself lose consciousness just to stop having to listen to Walky.

Norah Willett

I hope the cops when they get there don’t think Walky had anything to do with this. That’s kind of scary.

Donald Boettger

And then he finds out he was talking to a guy who just died from internal bleeding...

C

...Don't let him get away while posing Walky.

C.T. Phipps

A different and darker comic would have Blaine have suffocated to death during all this.

Packy Anderson

That's Blaine under the cape. Ross is bleeding out in the basement.

Giant Speck

You're right. I knew that. I'm leaving the mistake there because I'm dumb.

William Tessmer

Walky, I'm pretty sure when the cops get here alongside the paramedics you should let someone else do the talking...actually a lot of the time Walky should just let someone else do the talking... Too bad the "call 911" bit isn't in the main comic, so people can stop yelling about it in the comments.

Packy Anderson

I half expected Blaine in the final panel to weakly whimper at Walky to shut up.

Dumbing of Age Book 10: That's Why I Make Full Stops at Stop Signs and Don't Kidnap Anyone

Regalli

Honestly, it's way better than the one Blaine got from Amber's fiance in the other universe. (As far as I can tell, the only time Mike ever shares a scene with Blaine is at the latter's funeral, in which Mike says exactly two sentences to his corpse: "Later, jerkhole. I'm fucking your daughter." And then flips said corpse the double bird on the way out. It's not my absolute favorite Walkyverse strip ever, but with that as the punchline to Amber's beautiful monologue, it is easily in the top five.)

Jetstream

Maybe Blaine will will himself dead to get away from this.

Regalli

Better from Blaine's perspective, anyway. From my perspective, those two sentences and double-bird were perfect.

Regalli

If any line from a Patreon deserves consideration for the title, that one is certainly it. (Or at least among them.)

Regalli

I'm pretty sure his arms are duct-taped together, too. No leverage and no sight - probably not super-likely to get up. Of course, if he wants to try and roll his way out past either the porch (with its steps and group of people outside) or down the stairs into the basement (which is just as likely since he can't see,) be my guest, Blaine.

Bagge

Blaine fully deserves having to listen to Walky prat on for hours and hours and hours without end.

Ill-Tempered Clavier

Nightguy's cape is okay. Nightguy's pants? They look like pajama bottoms

Casey Mygrant

I'm actually bracing for that twist. Toedad pulls through much humbled and much in jail and Blaine dead.

William Tessmer

And I just noticed the bonus comic preview panel on the main site is the panel with Walky mentioning 911. Well played Willis.

William Tessmer

I've got it. Blaine is already dead and this is his hell. Next his daughter will walk in the door and gloat about having kicked his ass...again.

Dean Reilly

Stick with the arms akimbo. Cape in the breeze is more of a rooftop pose.

darklion

N I G H T G U Y

Pierpaolo Di Camillo

Awwwww. Walky is trying to have some quality time together with his maybe, we don't know, but still is probable, future father in law and impress him with his Brilliant eloquence ♡.

Shane Wegner

I dunno, if Walky sits on his cracked rib wrong, maybe it could become a reality. ...would Amber find it a turn on if Walky accidentally executed her dad.

Maya

Thanks to this strip, I finally know what "arms akimbo" means.

Gwen Sanger

Hold up does Walky have a driver's license???

Regalli

The knowledge that he is suffering on the inside is DELICIOUS.

Packy Anderson

Walky's from Middle America, where nobody escapes high school without a driver's license. You live in a city, don't you, Gwen?

Sarah Manx

I mean in all fairness, sometimes it's easy to forget that he's not 14. 😂

Shane Wegner

So Blaine, is the post-murdering someone afterglow and rush of power everything you thought it'd be? 'Cause it kind of seems like some crazy college kid in pajamas rambling non-sensically.

Jeffrey E. Dunne

I didn't read this bonus strip until *after* I read the one where Faz frees Blaine... Now Blaine taking Walky hostage makes so much more sense...
