I like how they don’t even consider the idea that Becky is taking the blame for the kidnapping. To them, it’s so obvious that it wasn’t her fault that they take her words as meaning she’s the one who encouraged their daughter to socialize more, for which they are very thankful.

For a second there I didn't realize they were talking about the birthday party Becky threw for her and not the kidnapping. I also had to realize that Dina actually chose to be apart of both.

I was so incredibly stoked by this strip, hoping that somehow they ended up at the same restaurant that Dorothy and her family will be taking Joyce, Hank, and Sarah, and we'll get to see all the good parents in the comic interact with each other. Then I remembered that this is a bonus strip, and thus will have no connection to the main story, which was written months ago. Even comics that make me happy deserve a Damn You Willis!
