Lagia Chris

Damn. Welp, this was too real.

Machalt

*Everyone disliked that*

Claire Victoria

this strip is very good at the kind of very funny to make me very sad

Packy Anderson

I'd laugh, but it's too close to reality.

Maude Reads Things

My eye is doing the angry twitchy thing. Too damn real.

Nico Villasana

Well the timing of this strip is.......certainly impeccable

Steve

I just love readin webcomics for this kind of escapism from the real world

Jordan Hiller

I think I vomited a little in my mouth... too close to reality

HenryVolt

Perfect timing for this.

Prinnyramza

In retrospect this is probably what I should've expected when I suggested it.

William Tessmer

I knew this strip would not be what anyone wanted, but I honestly hoped it would be Lester being humanized instead of this. Every single piece of shit in the world has their humanizing moments and it hurts to accept that.

Daniel Adams

The truth is, those two cops actually are not corrupt. It’s just that the official protocol is that laxed.

Alex H.

Given the frequency of officers getting away with murder without any investigation, you could probably accurately say that anytime in at least the past decade.

frnz

MY EXACT THOUGHT.

Kurt051

Lmfao, Wait what the hell just happened? Was everyone in on it. Sad that this does happen in real life, but its funny since it's Blaine.

Grace Serenity

That would explain why she's such a shit

Dana

I don't think everyone was in on it, I think the cops just look out for their own. They didn't need to be in on it.

Grace Serenity

*slow clap* nicely, fucking, done, Willis. #clevergirl

C.T. Phipps

He was a friend of Blaine.

Kurt051

Thats a possibility.

C.T. Phipps

Well before that. The big surprise is that there's no investigation despite his being a white man.

Matt Eldritch

I'm ashamed to admit that I'm related to a cop. ACAB, even if they're family.

William Tessmer

I think in real life they often are suspended or put on desk duty, but they almost always get cleared of any suspicion and then reinstated. It's basically performative justice.

Bagge

I'm sure this will be handled fairly

So-Long-Heteronormity

My guess would be an uncle, honestly. I guess Mary could be one of those local kids who decided to stay in the dorms for the experience (unless IU has a “freshman live in the dorms” rule like some do), but if she was local, it seems we should see her visiting home more often.

thejeff

Though we don't really see much of Mary except when she's interacting with main characters, so it's possible. And IU does have such a rule.

Bartłomiej W.

Thanks for pointing it out, I would've missed it.

Cryptic

Probably the wrong webcomic, tbh.

Borg Lord

Sometimes I worry that as we seek to solve problems with our house, the loudest opinion is going to end up being that we should burn it down with all of us still inside.

Hedgie

Oh, they're in on it just because of how they operate. The whole orchard is rotten

Macareux Moine

Mary isn't a local. According to her profile in book 2 she is from Michigan City.

A.

.... too real Willis too real

ryahmib

Bradford...and he is a jerk.....is he related to mary?

MrShoggoth

Man, this hits a lot harder now than it did originally.
