Okay, so stick with me on this: there's only one tall silhouette left, and it looks more Joe-ish than Ethan-like. Therefore, the only reasonable explanation is that Mike isn't dead, he's on the run from the mob, and Ethan went with him, and this is all the start off a picaresque spin-off comic with the two of them traveling the world together and engaging in various shenanigans. Please?

It's not entirely impossible. Let's theorize that the mob would want Mike dead because he knows too much. Mike, the smart person he is, may have created this booster persona. He could have woken up and recognized his parents but "not much else". Mike died in the sense that he is no longer the same person. Even Mike on the the cast page of DOA was updated to say... "He is(was???) roommates with Walky."

You guys are correct, there is NOTHING wrong with Booster wearing lipstick; I was trying to put myself in Walky's shoes where he tends to be more conventional in dress than that. My bad.

Well, Mike had a somehow loveable side that would peek through occasionally & I never believed he was what I think of as a true asshole. He was just messing with people and calling them on their shit. He was aware of what he was doing. Booster could be the "scary" kind of asshole with the "adhere" remark. That sounded rigid to me and made him seem as if he could be a "my way or the highway in all things" kind of asshole to me. IMO
