I relate to Joyce in the last panel, realizing that the weirdly dogmatic and single-lane drug resistance education she'd gotten wasn't quite accurate. I remember when I found out that I knew happy, successful people who used weed, and that DARE had been misleading to imply that trying weed once would definitely destroy your life.

I remember being scared of drugs as a kid, cause what if someone put a syringe in me and BOOM I was addicted to drugs? Then my mom told me no one would do that, anyone using drugs wants to keep them for themselves. And then I wasn't scared anymore. This reminds me of that.
