If It Bleeds

I'd rather eat snails covered in nails surrounded by flails on some rusty rails than deal with more Jennifer.

Harold

Well, I don't think people deliberately go out of their way to dump on Lucy they way they do Meg (I presume you're talking about Meg Griffin here). People are usually pretty nice to her, in fact (roommates excepted). But this is ... not great.

Uniquitous

Becky continues to be awful. Surprise, surprise.

Steve McSheffrey

I'd take Jennifer or even Mary over a long stretch of Becky and Dorothy coddling Joyce and treating her like a repair project TBH.

Bagge

awwwwwkward

Sajuuk-Khar

Becky, you…you made a really solid attempt, honey. You’re trying to do right by your friend. Gold star.

Sajuuk-Khar

As someone who keeps away from the main site comments section on account of bullshit like this, I would like to request, very politely: could you fuckin’ not

Rob McBobson

Minor typo: It's spelled "triumvirate".

Sajuuk-Khar

ADDENDUM: If Becky was the villain many seem to think she is, she could easily use this time to conspire with Lucy on Turning Joyce Back to Christ like Becks kind of was half-into several arcs back, and I think it’s notable her instinct is instead to try and get ahold of the person Joyce wanted to talk to before

Shane Wegner

“I get the feeling Joyce is wearing a bit thin of my and Dorothy’s meddling!” Good conclusion, Becky! “So how can I vector some additional meddling into her life from a new angle?” Less good conclusion, Becky!

Daniel Adams

Will always hate the running thing where Lucy is eager and qualified to help and everyone else is like ehhhhhhh. In another life her and Joyce would be best friends.

darklion

I WAS like Lucy. Now I'm not so eager anymore. I don't fit your preconceived notions of a good fit? GFYS.

Lauralot

Oh boy I can't wait for the main site comments to twist "Becky realizes she isn't what Joyce needs right now" into "Becky is literally Satan."

Gabriel Burns

I don't think it's about fit at all, though. Joyce knows Jennifer better and has accepted her help in the past. I get Lucy being bummed, but honestly she shouldn't be surprised.

Snail

I hate it but because it's too darn relatable. People love to say college will be the best years of your life but imho it usually isn't (even if it's an overall fun experiece). Lucy's the kind of person who'll make a lot more friends when she's in her mid-late twenties than she ever did at uni.

Minzoku Bokumetsu

always tempted to say leave it, bc who is 100% perfect in their day to day speech (Becky in particular, I wanna say, given a lot of her slangy dialect)
