You all were expecting Joe x Joyce sex, but it's me: Surprise Parents Arc!!

Sumit

This is going to be horrifying.

Russell

love seeing sarah checking to make sure she didn't go too far but also THIS WAS UNEXPECTED

HenryVolt

I finally managed to get my payments in order to temporarily get back into the early patreon updates and they blind side me with this. I wasn't prepared for Walkerton parents...is this another family weekend thing? Shit should we expect Carol to show up next?

Sajuuk-Khar

Your mommy’s alright* Your daddy’s alright** They just seem a little weird*** (*: No. **: Hahahaha no. ***: They “seem”?!? No. No, we learned from Freshmen Family Weekend and we know that if this is that again, it’s Hell Week in disguise)

Lisa

Is it bad that my first reaction to panel 3 was "oh wow they're actually acknowledging _both_ of their children"?

Shane Wegner

Sal’s eyes in P4- so accusatory. As a twin she doesn’t need words.

Lisa

Also what the fuck, Walky, "older, meaner, and everyone's a bit frightened of them" is what you think parents are supposed to be like? I remember him being so disturbed by Joyce's parents being problematic. And he's picked up on some of his parents' troubling behaviors. But apparently he still accepts this one as normal.

BBCC

Mercifully it's not a weekend so I'm hoping the twins are about to escape to class

Dan Rabin

It's as if she actually believes that he conjured them up. I think this is funny, because Sal isn't usually interested in pop-culture tropes.

Dan Rabin

We know that Walky backed up Sal in the parental conflict over the holiday break. Maybe they have new habits.

Erika

So what are the odds Linda gets pissed Walky’s dating Lucy and decides to physically force Dorothy into the mix only to find her hung over?

Harold

Or - and here's another trope with which TV expert Walky would be familiar - Walky never told his parents that he and Dorothy broke up, and when she comes out of the building she and Lucy are blindsided by Walky rushing to her and pretending they're still together. Hijinks ensue!

Harold

Most DoA parents: "It's us. Hi! We're the problem, it's us."

Harold

Yes, suddenly the storyline title ("But Don't Give Yourself Away") being a line from "Surrender" is taking on an ominous cast.
