Milazuki, from Emperor's rewards /2 (Patreon)

This is unusual, because I use to go with a light black inking in order to colour the artwork right after the ink... but this time I tried a different thing and I imagined Milazuki jumbing against a bright source of light (the sun, maybe?). I enjoyed the result: even if in the original drawing there isn't actually any light, the heavy shadows on Milazuki's body suggest the overall illumination and the final artwork is beautiful. Obviously, in this version I added the light with some digital effects.

Questa qui è insolita, come illustrazione, perché di solito ci vado leggero con l'inchiostro in quanto subito dopo devo colorare il disegno coi copic... ma stavolta ho voluto provare qualcosa di differente, mi sono immaginato Milazuki che salta fuori dall'acqua (armata, perché che nessuna ragazza va a fare il bagno nuda senza portarsi un'arma) e si staglia contro una fonte di luce fortissima, magari il sole all'alba o chissà cosa. Il bello è che le ombre pesantissime sul corpo nudo di Milazuki suggeriscono questa luce abbagliante anche se, di fatto, nell'originale non c'è. Insomma è venuta benissimo. Chiaramente in questa versione la luce ce l'ho aggiunta in digitale.
