Drizzit book III part 1 (back cover preview) (Patreon)

It's some sort of revelation, a coming out actually. The third and last book of Drizzit is not going to be the last... and it's going to, at the same time. The real matter is this one: Drizzit Book III is over 400 pages, something like 500 pages actually. It's unrealistic to sell a 500 pages book with hardcover and a realistic cost of 100 euros. So we "divided" the book in two parts. There will be a Drizzit book III part one and a Drizzit book III part two, each of them will be around 250 pages, that means more or less like the first book (it was 300 pages) and with a more affordable cost (around 50 euros, probably, because the paper prices went up in the meanwhile). You could buy the two part of Drizzit book III together, in a "bundle", for a discounted price, or you could buy the first part and then return for the second part. The two books will be available right after the summer, so we are counting to have them both at Lucca 2025 (November 2025). This is the "fake" back cover for Drizzit Book III part I. Questa è una specie di rivelazione, una sorta di "coming out". Il terzo e ultimo libro di Drizzit non sarà l'ultimo... o meglio lo sarà! La questione è la seguente: Drizzit book III, impaginato, contava qualcosa come 500 pagine... era davvero poco realistico pensare che la gente si sarebbe comprata un libro di 500 pagine, rilegato e cartonato, pesante, al costo probabile di 100 euro. Quindi lo abbiamo diviso in due. Uscirà un Drizzit - book III parte 1 e poi un Drizzit - book III parte due. È una roba che è già stata fatta in precedenza, nel mercato editoriale (vedi ad esempio le raccolte di Rigor Mortis di Crosa edite da Cosmo). In questo modo ogni parte verrà di circa 250 pagine e si potrà vendere attorno alle 50 euro, che è il costo anche del primo volume (che era di 300 pagine, ma il costo della carta in due anni è salito). Ma soprattutto saranno entrambi più maneggiabili e leggibili... un bibbione di 500 pagine avreste potuto leggerlo solo su un leggìo, come nel seicento.

Ovviamente ci sarà l'offerta per chi li compra entrambi, ovvero uno sconto. Vorrei farli uscire in contemporanea proprio per incentivare l'acquisto in coppia, quindi è probabile che uno uscirà al Romics (Ottobre) e uno a Lucca (Novembre) così li avremo entrambi per Lucca 2025, casomai venisse gente ad acquistarli per completare la collezione.
