Lunce, from emperors' rewards /01 (Patreon)

First one from the emperor's rewards. She's Lunce (in ancient times named "Iunce", then across centuries the I gradually moved into a L for a phonetic phenomenon, and Lunce agreed with her new name); she was the ancient muse of predictions and oracles, always behind many prophecies and legacies, until someone killed himself for a bad divination about his love story and Lunce loses her powers. Calliope casted her away and then she joined Adrasteia and you know the story. Now she's a powerless forgotten muse and together with Nessa and Cloride work in a mall, counting on her eternal young beauty to make promotions and spots. Not a kind one, anyway: Lunce is malevolent, mischievous and supercial, always speaking behind people and (poorly) judging them. Though she's the Emperor's choice, this month, so you're going to see more than a single artwork with her. The one you see here is her ancient look. Her modern look is slightly different, I'll show you in the next reward.

Prima delle ricompense Emperor di questo mese. Lei è Lunce, che appare brevemente nel fumetto (in uno o due episodi, uno dei quali tra l'altro fu "tagliato" dalla versione cartacea); Lunce ha visto il suo nome cambiare nei secoli: originariamente era Iunce, con la "i", ma per un effetto fonetico la "i" è diventata una L e lei stessa ha accettato il cambiamento del suo nome.

In passato Lunce era la musa degli oracoli e delle profezie, e ispirava veggenti, predicatori e lettori del destino... poi uno dei suoi autori si suicidò a causa di una terribile predizione ispirata da Lunce, e da allora Calliope l'ha sempre messa in secondo piano, tra le muse. Quando è arrivata Adrasteia, Lunce ha deciso di unirsi alla sua causa contro Calliope e la Schiera... e il resto lo sapete (se avete letto The Author).

Attualmente Lunce è una musa senza poteri (una delle "muse dimenticate"), a parte per la sua eterna giovinezza, privilegio che le ha permesso di trovare lavoro presso un centro commerciale assieme a Nessa e Cloride. Promuove prodotti, gira piccoli spot, cose del genere. Non è una "bella" persona, comunque: è maligna, maliziosa e superficiale. È il tipo di persona che ti sorride davanti e poi parla male alle tue spalle, e siccome è superficiale nemmeno sa giudicarti bene, quindi finisce per sparlare della gente senza che la gente davvero se lo meriti. Insomma, ben le sta.
