i'll open another sketchy sunday inbox tomorrow at 3.00 pm central on september 28 so get ready!

i was wondering tho, should we keep doing the usual format, or maybe you guys would prefer like a theme? like a horror theme for the upcoming october? or some other theme?

or maybe you guys are tired of sketchy sunday and you'd prefer me to work , i dunno on a comic on sunday? or an interactive fiction like mspaadventures?

I don't really think it should be themed, but maybe instead of the bonus random pic maybe a short 4 panel comic of something, like ur SU comic or whatnot...just straight up porn?

Yeah Jacob gave one really nice compromise, but still we could keep this of the random round being a special (such as a one shot comic) being reserved for special occasions, such as Halloween that is right around the corner, just so the ones who still count with the random round can still have theyr chance outside of those special occasions..

The usual format is fine in my opinion, but having monthly themes would be cool, especially since Halloween is coming soon

Yeah mmonthly themes are a great idea, means you can branch out and experiment with what you can draw, would love to see a Cyborg or mech kinda theme one month. ; D

Maybe go with a themes October pics but maybe do it like group pics? You could come up with a themes for each week (group trick or treating, horror movie night, costume party etc) and we just post a ref of our Sona or if we want our irl self's message you some pics for refs. You could randomly choose the people like how you do for the last Sunday of each month.

themes would denfinitly be awesome, and a horror/halloween theme is cool, i love halloween and seeing some seasonal stuff would make great stories/comics come together :D

I'm with the majority here, Sketchy Sundays are definitely one of the greatest things of your Patreon but making them thematic sounds like an awesome idea, seeing what we can come up with a determined theme and you putting it on paper (well, manner of speech here).

I like the idea of a theme based comic per season/holiday, but Sketchy Sunday is always a treat to have and I wouldn't want to see that go to far astray XD

Are you open to letting folks who've not gotten entries chosen get priority over those who have? I'm more open to an interactive adventure possibly so long as you don't have to lose too much energy trying to keep up with all the wildness that'll no doubt ensue.

Whatever you decide is most enjoyable to work on, I like the current art that comes out every sunday and think it adds some nice interactivity, but I can understand if it gets a little old. I do think a halloween theme would be really cool though!

I only join of late so I am enjoying the sketchy Sunday, but a good theme now and then won't hurt as well like you said for something like Halloween.

I like the idea of a theme. It adds some variety to just a plain ol' request board, haha. But a comic also sounds fun. Kind of a hard choice. But if I had to choose, I'd go with the comic/interactive fiction. Being able to participate in decision making is a fun aspect.
