I’m pretty new to this patreon, and while I do love the pictures of this story I’m not that exactly caught up with all the plot that much. So all I’m going to say is that, things are pretty hot and the giant latex monster should corrupt all of creations! (That’ll be my answer until I can get the time to read this from the beginning)

I want to make the truthsayer and the bad drones see nothing but darkness. If possible I also want them to hear horrifying sounds so loud that they can't hear anything else around them. Except for Keth and Jack. Just make them unable to hear or see while they still under the truthsayer's control.

while we wait until we know how to proceed I just wanna say that while this update didnt turn out how I would have hoped, and I'm not happy with the outcome, I AM content with us getting more story! people were complaining that we got this huge amount of power and that nothing that would happen mattered because the story was over. and well, obviously that wasnt the case. we should have continued to try and push forwards towards helping the monsters out, if we actually care about the story in any way. I feel kind of vindicated by the fact that because people trying to start shit, shit did indeed hit the fan, and things are indeed about to end really really badly, and the story will in fact end in the worst way possible that we've been trying to avoid for the past year or so. What my DREAM is for this story, is for us to lose the final say on what we do with the monsters. I like the way we ask Keth to do things, and he decides whether he does them or not. The drones and the Voxotaur are kind of bad because they allow us to put our hands in the story, and more often than not we just break things rather than make them better. It'd be REALLY cool if we had a personification of us patrons to act for us and decide things for us... which is what I've been trying to push forwards for some time now.

Holy fuck, I'm blown away by this update, I'm speechless, such an epic way to end an amazing chapter, so SO satisfying. What happened to Keth makes me feel so sad, he's such a hero, but I think I feel even worse for Legion, that poor boy has been though dying once, I don't know if he can take this. Poor sobby demon boy. Do we post commands on this page? I know traditionally we don't on end chapter... but the disclaimer up top...

TO LUCAS: Well it seems the ghosts are out of reach for now, but the Voxotaur could use some help. They have the power to control time in a limited capacity, and we could really use a reset button right now. Maybe try taking in the EYES THAT REMEMBER, cause the current body using it doesn't have the energy for time-bending right now. Around 3 minutes back should do the trick, hopefully...

Had a super bad day today, seeing Keth just... becoming latex and his mask, the very thing i asked two weeks ago to see under slipping off, had me actually cry??? We just gotta work a little harder for that happy ending is all.

There was one guy who suggested to subjugate Keth to mind warping prison unless one of us answered a riddle, that and us telling him to teleport the Roo away as well as other things kinda put him at a disadvantage.

Why is it always your dream? Like no offense but this is a story controlled by ALL of us. WE "create and add" the story not just one single person. And those last few paragraphs are a tad hypocritical don't you think?, I mean you had no problem controlling the Zork king, changing things as you pleased or commanding the gorilla drone to go bang its self. Just saying... And as for the last paragraph, there's already is someone who's a personification of all our desires and decides the things we do... It's Blazingcheeks himself. He's got the last say as to what makes it in and how it ends up playing out. And he's done a freaking amazing job at it so far.

I totally agree that this story is awesome! Blazingcheeks is doing an incredible job at taking the random assortment of commands and comments we write into a cohesive story. Its gotta be ridiculously hard to do this, honestly! What you're saying is completely fair. I am being pretty hypocritical when I say I dont want us patrons to join this world but also am inside a vessel myeslf. Everyone chooses how they want to influence the flow of this story; and personally I'm choosing to try and move it forward and trying to save our monster friends, because I've grown attatched to them, and it really hurts seeing them getting hurt, corrupted and fucked. And from what I can see, even after we got the VOICE power taken from us patrons, we still have a lot of power to change and affect the story. The monsters simply can't defend themselves agaisnt the godly powers we have on the board right now. That's just a fact. I would prefer if the monsters had a little more say on what happened to them, 'cuz thats when interesting character development happens and thats when our influence is most felt. At the moment, when they're basically just fighting to exist, they cant have conflict between themselves and they can't do much other than just run away while us patrons do the fighting for them. So I'm trying to guide the story in a way where us patrons DO still have a lasting impact in this universe, but one that is mediated not only by BC, but also by the monsters and characters of this story. The story will go on after we're gone, and I want to make sure that even if we can't directly affect what happens here, we can leave a positive lasting influence on this story. Everything I've done has been trying to help them. Even when I "disabled" the Gorilla Drone, it was because he was harming innocent people that had nothing but bad things happen to them. So what is it that YOU're trying to accomplish? Don't you care about the characters of this story at all?

I don't really understand your point of view, and I want to try and see it!! Like... I've been doing things to save the monsters because I like them and care about their safety. So what are YOUR priorities?

I dont think it'd be fair if I got in a command for this update and I think the Voxotaur, the Zorc King and the Drones are gonna stay standing around and do nothing for this update but just in case they DON'T just stand around, I guess the zorc king is gonna move towards the facility. nothing fancy.

You're obviously very passionate about this but I think you need to remember that while Monster Smash has interactive 'game' like elements, it is a story first and foremost. Blazingcheeks is an experienced, extremely accomplished story writer, with several masterwork comics under his belt, and ultimately BC is not just writing story for us, but for all his future fans that will go back and read this. Conflict is the bread and butter of storytelling. Do you really think that if nobody had posted any evil commands BC was just going to let everything work out perfectly? That just putting a traumatized god into Keth was going to ‘win the game’ with no unforeseen consequences? It was inevitable <i>something</i> was going to go wrong, and with the stakes so high whatever happened was always going to be devastating, because the story demands it. I’m just not sure a few of you guys empathise that you can really love a character, but still want to see them overcome hardship. Like, I am rooting for Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, but the movie would be pretty strange (and remembered less fondly) if midway through the third act she just discovered she could tap her shoes and leave anytime she wants without facing the witch. I’m pretty sure we all have plans we’d love to see happen but just don’t (I wanted to transform the demons from requiring eating human souls to live, but the opportunity just never came up), the influence we have over this story is illusionary at best, all the power and all the choices are up to BC, so you just gotta trust that he’s doing what is best for the story. This is not doom, just like it wasn’t doom with the Duke standoff, or when the Wendigo was attacking, just like unforeseen bad things happen, plenty of unforeseen good things happen too, and we still have plenty of powerful pieces on the chess board, the final battle is just going to be a little less one sided. And that’s going to make the ending even more sweet.

Yes, I am aware of all of this. I know things LOOK dire right now, but I trust that things will work out in the end. We've been in similar situations before, like you mentioned, with little to no possible good outcome, but the story continued and things turned out OK. So I'm not really worried that "people ruined everything" by interfering, because in the end, the story is gonna keep going one way or another. I do, however, think its unnecessary for us patrons to really do anything in this story, be it good or bad. If nobody did anything, there would be hardships and triumphs regardless. Hence why I keep mentioning my "dream". I wanna take some agency away from us. At least a little bit. But even THAT isnt the one thing I want. The story is gonna turn out great, but what I REALLY wish for is for this story to continue even after its finished. I wish that there would be references or mentions of what happened here in more of BC's content! For it to not just be a self contained story. FOr it to be SO great that it ends up being one of BC's best works (which it already is honestly). But for that to happen, the story has to end in a certain place. I'm not sure what that place is, but it has to feel satisfying, and our monster friends have to survive in some way. The way for us to stay in this story even after its done is if we had a character INSIDE the story that represented us. The Voxotaur is a prime candidate for this, and my dream is to make him our representative, rather than our vessel; Kind of like Keth is the representative of the VOID in a way. This might be really selfish of me... to want the story to have a prologue or for the connected universe this is happening in to STAY connected. But it is a dream for a reason.

Eh, I came to the series late so I never got to use Touch or Voice commands the first time around. I just wanted to have a fun time grabbing a few monsters and putting them in sexy situations + making their junk huge. Obviously, the last few updates I'd just had to focus entirely on trying to not get yeeted into the sun.
