EDIT: in the rush of publishing today's update i forgot the option to choose beastgore instead of asgore, and the perk muscle band! sorry! i've included them as a separate post since i can't modify the polls once they're posted. Of course, all the options that regard asgore will automatically pass onto beastgore if he wins. 

also muscle band is in the other poll too, i simply forgot to put it in. Sorry again for the confusion!  

welcome back to the iron dong tournament!  well, what do you know, we have our first finalist! Roadhog can put up the facade of scary terrorist all he wants, but pete and his gang know just the right way to make the piggy squeal in delight! 

from road hog to piggy bank! rocksteady, bebop and roadhog  will be back in the next fight that involves pete thanks to his upgraded perk!  

pete  proceeds to the next bracket and takes place as our first finalist!

next, a literal battle royale! who will prevail? the gentle regent of the underground or the fiery king of koopas?

I will be so disappointed if Bowser wins the whole thing. (edit: mostly because it was predictable af. but regardless, I'll still definitely and most certainly love the art, because Bowser is hot and BC is an amazing artist)

Exactly, Bowser's kinda overrated and boring at this point. Asgore's a lot more interesting, but when you include the Furry Basics in a poll, you no longer have a poll.

So old Papa vs new Papa huh? Okay I would say that the new I mean old perk revived should be hmm Well I think the only ones that are still missing are the bondage one and the drunk one. I'm not really into any of the characters being drunk. And how's the final matchup being bondage Focus going to work? Maybe Mario's shroom?

I always assumed that the effects of the perks with carryover so I kind of want beastgore back I'm just worried about the divided vote issue

this is just how polls work. and don't get me wrong, Bowser is hot and I'll enjoy it if he wins. Its just that if I had to vote on which character I think would have won at the beginning of the tournament, I would have voted on Bowser, because he's the most popular by far. and I'm gonna be disappointed if he wins only because its so predictable. xP

Thanks. That. Tattoos. Weather Bowser or P twins or b eastgore I'm feeling the need for somebody art. So that's the one I want revived. Blazing has been awesome but I really don't think that he's going to include any more bondage elements when we've got multiple people already needing to be in the frame so it doesn't feel like it's missing. Giving him the freedom to decorate with some reasonable direction that feels right

Okay Jim Bays tattoo. Pete will probably have a classic Heart with a banner maybe anchor through it on one end and a long pistol on another. If you could see the words it probably be PJ pistol and whatever his wife's name is I hope someone has ideas for Bebop and Rocksteady aside from each wearing the others name Roadhog is redundant at this point and blazing has already given us a gorgeous update up is already existing art. I don't know maybe some arm stuff that alludes to speakeasies or something 1920s the gangster ish? If it's the king of the Underground obviously it's going to be his flowers including two over his heart one representing his wife and the other has lost child. Maybe colored hearts somewhere? Beast is going to have likely something alluding to the Rose a bell a clock a candle and a pot... actually now that I think about it this would be really boss for the fusions because it would give us an opportunity to better characterize their full identity as distinct entities So what would be the custom ink for Beast gore? And of course we're going to get Beast score Bowser. Someone's going to have to think of something both cute and nasty for that kind of guy Someone needs to have a care bear style rump mark. You know the little heart heart that they would have it wouldn't necessarily have to be a heart maybe that's where Beastgore's Trident head could be? Foot clan logo for bebop and rock steady for rumpmark? Maybe actual gang symbols I mean like old defunct from the 80s where they're from somewhere relatively visible but not prominent? Raley's Something To indicate these were Street kids in the eighties since you've gone with classic look I know I'm putting the cart before the horse but likely this is the only way to drum up excitement so people vote for the dang thing. Cuz there is no way that we're not getting a soul Fusion plus and hopefully it'll whet the appetite for it actually using that lost perk

Ohhh yeah, definitely voting for that and beasts perk to make a reappearance then. With this talk of old perks again I am wondering though. Since you've expanded on the perks with their + modifiers, I was wondering if you had said modifiers in mind for the perks from the start or not. I guess I'm just curious about what these modifiers could have been if the rounds would have ended differently.

But there isn't really one. Even if Beastgore shouldn't have been a part of a different poll, people would still have been able to vote for multiple characters in either win condition. If people don't want Bowser to win, then they'll likely just vote for both Beastgore and Asgore.

Understandable mistake. Only reason I noticed was because I specifically looked for it and hadn't even noticed the lack of Beastgore as well. You're absolutely nailing your artwork as usual though so big kudos to you! :3

Well Asgore being fatter in the first round ended up being a mistake. I believe BC accidentally missed the cigar perk having more votes. Aaaanyway, I still don't believe most perks really carry over between rounds. Only really Pete's and Greg's perk have have any effect between rounds from what I've seen.

The hairy fat one? Well it's still a part of the tournament. With BC already having a pretty packed schedule, I could only imagine it wouldn't be feasible for him to make a new one just for that.

Just to clarify, Asgore and Beastgore votes don't stack, do they? If they did, Bowser may still have a chance at losing, but if not... well, it just seems like they should since they both involve Asgore.

in the end i decided most of the perks would be single round only. I felt people wouldn't want to see their faves changed TOO much

Yup exactly. Hell I wanted Po to win most of all only cause it seems like he is way too underrated.

No of course not. If that was the case then each person would effectively be able to vote for Asgore twice, giving him a pretty huge advantage that'll guarantee him winning against anyone that hasn't been merged in the previous round :P

No kidding. To be fair if you wanted blond and big bellied you had a few options also I'd have to say he had the weakest of the perks. As an example roadhog in the current picture doesn't seem like he's minor in the production am I right? Whereas in addition to his looks and series pedigree asgore has easily the best perk in the entire list Incineroar was a case of it's good just to be nominated cuz he seemed really out of place To be fair I'm a bit surprised Pete lasted this far but I guess once he got that gang recruiter plus he was up against a relatively less challenging bunch Also let's be considerate to Blazing one of his OCS got nominated and completely eliminated first round. He's been a total champ about that so

Oh man it's such a close race. I'm glad Asgore is likely bottoming either way but I wanna see him get nutted in! Dang!!!

Honestly I'm surprised that Asgore's perk wasn't just added as a passive when he won his first match. Obviously two perks would be better than one so it would always win the vote in the upcoming rounds. Speaking of strong perks though I can't say that I'm too surprised seeing Pete getting to the final round. It really speaks for how good his + modifier is, being able to straight up bring both himself and his opponent into the next round. That and turning said losing opponent into his minion is just something to make it even more appealing. Honestly, with said perk I wouldn't be surprised to see him winning the tournament with just how powerful it is.

Browser over ten ahead. Even secondary b eastgore lags behind. It was close though. Might I ask why it is that fans of a s g o r e vote for b e a s t g o r e? Effectively the same character and if they win your favorite still goes forward does the aesthetic matter that much to them?

You would think so but it HAS lost one round since introduction. Though I think it was everyone talk g it's victory for granted and unusual new alternate
