Well fuck. Coherent Voices with like 4 patreons. Not to mention Voices can probably take over Voxotaur Time body (cant remember if there is a reason he can't). Best I can do is offer a game plan to stall for Fingers virus To everyone: Okay everyone the Truthsayer has just regained concious thought and his intent is on the Heart. The only way we can gain an advantage is to stall him from finding Sydan and the Heart and giving Keth a chance to teleport out. Maybe then we can get Keth to trap the Truthsayer in the prison again and devise a new plan with Void, Arms and Heart!

Gastro that was amazing, you and the arms really did great. But your not done. The truthsayer is thinking of the hear and will try to go after sydan. You can't let him get away but don't try any finishing blows yet. You have to wait until Keth can escape its body.

Okay, the real question is, if the Arms give the power to destroy anything, and Gastro can also perceive time however he wants... is there a way to use that ability to get at the Zorc virus, as well? Can it destroy on a micro level? I guess consider that I'm talking to Gastro and/or the Arms when I say this. I know there are some more pressing matters going on at the moment, but this shit matters too, we've got to find a way to free the Heart from the virus's influence or Sydan is totally boned, too!

I'd imagine you're still in there. There at least wasn't any message mentioning you being wiped out and being brought back on the other side of the screen like the winged drone. Having said that, I'm not entirely sure what the arms power of prohibiting your regeneration will do as it still seemed like the newly entered winged drone could manipulate the body and remove the zork infection.

I blind all of Gastro's senses, specifically his sight, all he can see is a swarm of his dead lover – anguished, angry, tearing up that fucking book. Gastro : I thought you were the fucking hero, what a joke, you’re just dumb nobody. All you had to do is nothing, nothin, just wait a few minutes and Jack could have been saved. And so inside this body's void Vox's slowly born, sleeping until you wake it up.

(Opinions and overall gushing: This was a nice chapter! Thank you to that one person who saved Lucas! Some folks sole intent are starting a lust apocalypse with the Locked Vox. Uh good luck? Harvey is a fat gumdrop but at least his mind is ok. Can't wait to fix him. Legion calling Keth his student gives me life, love it. A patron was trying to get him to stop calling us master and actually get angry but we've made it clear that we are mutiple entities several times. It's not fair to blame us as a whole when it's 1 or 2 guys against you. Regarding Keth calling us master that's up to him, plus we don't have an actual name besides patrons really. Everything regarding Gastro was GREAT. Overall solid chapter as always. Some of us need to stop Locked Vox now before his army even starts locking (haha) him in place sounds like a good place to start. Other than that just keep the boys safe really, Keth should be getting out soon and Sydan's getting cured. All the necessary parts will be together to beat the truthsayer me thinks)

(Okay here goes nothing) I want to first grab the dragon drones shoulder and perform these alterations on both of us: lock our minds from further patron intrusions, make us deaf, and make our skin sensitive to changes in the air so we can still sence when someone is approaching us from out of sight. (You only have to add this if we make it to floor two right away) Use the voice on all the scientists, "All right boys ATTENTION! I haven't tried to do anything in awhile since I'm so lost on what I could do but I should at least try. If possible I'd like to trick Monilius's motor senses on balance to make their arm move backwards and stab Sydan/HEART with the cure, if they are not close enough, throwing it at them, preventing any attempts to destroy the cure.

Wow... that was... heartbreaking. I did not expect Jack to die, I really didn't want him to either. I wanted him to live so that he could finally be happy again with Gastro, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. The worst part is that we're the ones who killed him and that just makes it even sadder. I don't know if there is any chance to bring him back, but R.I.P. Jack, you deserve it. *I disable all the Truthsayers senses and enter his mind so we can speak 1 on 1* Truthsayer: Why do you have to cause so much needless suffering? I cannot comprehend why you hate us so much; all the other beings love us. What did we do to you that made you want to destroy everything? DUDE YES I kinda really liked the way we were doing things when Keth got VOID. If we wanted things to happen, we ASKED Keth to do things, and he decided whether they happened or not. I wanted to do that for ALL the being's powers. Like have a monster that would use the powers responsibly, but still listen to us and do what we suggested or wanted.

I replace Arms entire reality with an illusion, a perverted fantasy. Perception of time itself seems to slow down to a crawl in the real world, seconds in reality become days in fantasy, minutes feel like weeks or even years. The illusion mentally links Arms, Heart, Truthsayer and Void together; all four can see and feel everything that happens in this fantasy as if it was real, but none can control it. Arms is given a sexy avatar like Hearts, except his is more beefy and hunky (Truthsayer and Void get an avatar too). In this fantasy the eldritch beings are all stuck in a pleasure paradise together, powerless to do anything besides participate in an endless hedonism driven orgy - always horny, love-drunk (n' booze drunk), passionate, extremely kinky, mindbogglingly pleasurable, but inescapably tender and loving.

Some passing thoughts as I was reading this amazing update. I'm glad we get to see the amazing Duke again even if he is a fake. I really had hoped he would've joined our monster gang. I'm still holding out hope that the Duke is alive because if you don't see a character die then they're not dead. That Monilius and Zorc King interaction was surprisingly arousing. I hope there's more in the next update. I need someone like Bido in my life, that dude is funny as shit. Seeing as how we've interacted with ghosts maybe there's a chance that Jack becomes a ghost. He may not have a physical body anymore, but I'd love to talk with him some more. A reason why this probably won't happen is that it would undermine the moment that Gastro had and Jacks final message. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

((THIS WALL OF TEXT IS FOR THE PATRONS (and BC if he wants) DETAILING MY DREAM TO MAKE A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PATRONS IN THE STORY)) So I've been dreaming of making the Voxotaur an intermediary between us and the monsters for a long time. For them to listen to what we want to do and decide whether the monsters would like it or not. I know its possible, if I got a hold of a body with the power of the FINGERS and VOICE at least. But like the idiot I was, I entered subject 9 with the intent of saving our monster friends, instead of being selfish and doing this dream. So ever since, for the past few months I've been stuck doing the right thing, rather than doing the FUN thing I've been meaning to try. So I've been asking other people to try and help out, joining vessels and working towards this goal )'cuz it sounds pretty good!) It SEEMS possible to convert a vessel into a conscious person, if you restore its mind to what it used to be, or if you give it sentience, a personality and memories. We can't be sure the VOICE can just make an empty body be sentient, but we wouldnt have to if we join his powers with the EYES, and peer into the past, grab the mind of people who get absorbed or killed, and bring it into an empty body made by the FINGERS. And from there, we can mold the personality, maneurisms and the memories of the person we make, so we can ensure they help the monsters and they use their powers to HELP the people of this world, rather than do what the VOICE or FINGERS did. PLUS, on top of it all, we get to give Keth a representation of us, that will stay with him after the screen closes and the story finishes. We can leave something in this universe that will keep it safe and interesting. There's A LOT more details to this plan of mine, and thats why I need help from other people. EVEN IF i grabbed a vessel with all of these powers, I'm still restrained by a command only 6 lines long.

As the Gorilla Drone: "You killed him once, can your heart bare to kill him again" I modify the Zork virus in the bubble to not be affected by the Zork King, then spatter goops of it that turn into Jack's to fight Gastro and the others. Relaying the info on the heart and the warning about not getting to close the Zork king so that we can make our escape.

As the Winged Drone: I'll act as support, clearing the Truthsayers mind and blocking any outside atemts of intrusion or interference with our mind sence or otherwise [locking other patreons out, except for those already in here, like Vox did only this is probably just going to be temporary] and warn him about the Zork king/ Shydan and the potential cure. NOT A DIALOGUE OR COMMAND. Also I’m sorry for a long piece of text. Amazing storytelling, BC! I’m always not sure what predictions will come true. Especially bad ones. Please, keep surprising us with your story and art! And now back to practical matters…it’s now or never. It’s a relief that we escaped some edgy situation there with Sydan and Gastro. Though who would’ve thought it would be so bitter. Poor, poor Jack. Even seeing Sydan out of Voice’s reach doesn’t help the matter. And it won’t get better, because you could only place so much trust on beings with mind-corrosive presence. As for this week’s command I’ll let you lot decide instead of me from the next list. (Now I have to warn you that I will try use at least one of them so choose carefully.): 1) Alarm Truthsayer of incoming threat from Zorc King or Voxotaur. Maybe adding all their locations and everything we know about them so far. 2) The moment Sydan/Heart gets self-counscious enough for a coherent thought, I’ll proceed to do next: Either by playing on his gratitude or by bombarding his senses, I’m going to convince him to grant Zorc King a Piece of Infinity. Why, both him and Voxotaur, our old ally. (Before we move on to #3, I want to explain why it is a very BAD idea) 2.1) While I’m unsure of how it’s possible (most certainly because the Being in question is lending its powers or forced to do so) I’m quite sure that adding Heart power to Voxotaur’s collection will surely make him pop like a balloon. All because of immeasurable power. (If it will not be the case..) 2.2) Even the extensions of Heart’s infinity are treated as The Heart itself. We chose not to grant its powers to anybody in fear that Truthsayer would have advantage at hacking the Heart that way. But now I want to play that wild card. Giving them both its pieces will resolve in Heart = Zorc King and Heart = Voxotaur. The moment all three ( or at least Voxotaur) are linked, Heart becomes the bearer of two conflicting diseases. We have three possible outcomes here: Heart’s new predatory essence will either engulf source of zorc virus or Voxotaur’s will be brought back to it’s old form. Or Sydan/Heart will go mad from the process. In any way that won’t be pleasant for all parties. (If it will not be the case…) 2.3) Pieces of Infinity are unstable outside its Heart’s host. Whoever possess it will slowly, but surely mutate into something unstable and alien altogether. After the body might even be unsuitable for hosting us. 3) I slide into the Truthsayer’s body to test some things and join his ranks temporarily. The creation of a new separate drone.

Seeing as how the traitors have teamed up, I think the good guys should too. I'd love to help create a happy ending that our boys deserve. On a side note, would it really be right to tell Keth to love whoever we say to? He's in love with us so even if we leave him with our "representative" it wouldn't be the same thing. Using the eyes to grab a person's consciousness from the past seems like an interesting idea, but I wonder if it's possible? If it is I kind of want to do that with Jack, his death was so sudden so I'm trying to grasp at any possibility to bring him back somehow.

I gotta ask for clarification here, is your intention to prevent people from talking directly with the Truthsayer? Or is it just about preventing illusions?

I don't agree with that. Gastro did have good reasons to kill Jack at this moment, but it feels like ultimately the reasons he chose to kill him was selfish, to avoid upcoming relationship issues (Bido), and avoid being taken out himself (Boozehound) even if only temporary.

Firstly, Xer actually wanted to help once, but I upset him and he changed his mind, and decided to try and cause an apocalypse. Secondly, by doing this he's taking away the spotlight off of this amazing idea I wanna do when I finally get the opportunity. And third, the way he's doing it is very dangerous, and we have no guarantee it'll work the way he wants. I'm gonna do it in a much more controlled manner, insuring the person we create will help our monsters and do good.

Hey sorry about that, lemme just say why I was planning this and I did say it was temporary. A lotta folks right now are trying to mess with the Truthsayer, in any way possible. Freeing them would probably be the best way to fix Harvey, and just the delay would also give Keth a little more time to pull off his Houdini act. I want to end this too, but I don’t know if you can safely free them by just killing the Truthsayer and I don’t want to see anyone else get dragged down by this guy.

I also would like test if i can leave and later control illusions after drone possession. 1 sentence to possess Fake Keth body, since it's only arguably a Truthsayer's body and has no mind whatsoever. OR -3 sentences to alarm Voice about dangers in form of Voxotaur, give out the location of Voxotaur, Sydan and Zorc King. Create a hallucinatory terrain and make copies of your goo minions and Truthsayer's body. Safeguard Truthsayer mind from intrusions. 1 line to Truthsayer 2 sentences for psychological warfare with Keth. Edit: My apologies. Guys, I understand that you guys are attached to a lot of the characters in this story. I am to, but when I slipped into the drone I made my choice to play the part of the villain, along with Wings at the time. Why? You might ask, let me answer all of you. Was it to spite anyone : No we're all playing this together. Was it because I'm a sick and twisted person : No, but if you think I am it's best to self reflect first, I've been over why almost EVERYONE is evil in this not to long ago. Did I hate Jack?: No I actually thought he was a pretty awesome character tbh. Why did I choose to play the part of the villain then?: Because things were to easy, we where so powerful. We where the gods amongst monster, enthralling each and every monster in a web of our own fantasies. No one could oppose us, there was no real threat, or at least that's how I felt. Until I chose to enter the drone and a few followed along. Me and wings talked about not wanting to do this to hurt anyone, but further the story, to move things forward and add some flesh to the story. And most of the comments have been that the story has been amazing these past few chapters, regardless of some people siding with the Truthsayer or Jack dieing for that matter. I get you don't want anyone to die, but it's apart of life and the way it was handled was amazing, brought tears to eyes and a kick in the story. Conflict is a crucial part of story telling, you must understand that. My choice of using Jack as bait was just me playing the part of a villain, the best I could. My choices [and the others with me] are your challenges to help the protagonists overcome. So villainise me all you want, even take your frustration out on me. I'm playing the villain, I want this story to be good as much as everyone else and Ill stand by my choice to be a villain in this story, to give my little bit of influence to build on this story, whatever the outcome might be. I do it to try ad add substance to an amazing story.

The problem with playing the villain in a story like this one is that every action has a consequence. Things don't happen and the characters don't know why. The characters know that we are here and the power we have. This story is built around the concept that we influence every action, we control the direction, we are the writers. To say that "I didn't think this would happen" or "We never wanted to hurt anyone" is just as short sighted as one can get. Every action you guys have taken has been with the intention of eradicating the group and letting the Truthsayer win. You make the excuse that you're doing it so the characters can overcome the challenge, but how exactly are they suppose to overcome challenges that 100% disables them? Your challenges are things WE have to overcome by thinking of solutions for the monsters. It causes people to have a game of tug of war to see who can 1 up the other. Whether or not that is a bad thing is debatable. I would be more understanding of your decision to play the villain if the antagonist had an even remotely morally ambiguous goal. The Truthsayer doesn't, he wants to destroy everything because he hates our guts. Which leads me into my next point. The Truthsayer HATES you, why anyone would try to help someone that doesn't even like them is beyond me. I'm not hating on you or trying to attack you, but your recent action shows a lack of foresight. Like Derrekk said, using Jack as a human shield leaves little to no choice to be made. Either Gastro kills him or the Truthsayer wins without question. How can you then say you don't want to hurt anyone? You say death is apart of life and that's true, but snuffing out a life early is not apart of life, it's murder. I know it's just a story, but it's a story that feels so much more tangible than most because we're able to influence it however we like. That makes the characters seem so much more real and causes some people to take what happens to them seriously, myself included. You may view it as "Just a story" but for some of us we have connected very strongly to it.

I never said I didn't want to hurt anyone, it's a story someone is bound to get hurt and Gastro killing Jack was the amalgamation of my choice and the arms that guided him... Things where moving in slow motion for Gastro he had more power in that moment than he realized. He could have moved to the side and severed the goop holding Jack essentially freeing him... There where a lot of other things that could have happened in that very moment. There are other characters to. But things get so fixated on one character that you all forget what the others can do. Keth was a perfect example of this. Where everyone micro focused so much on Keth instead of building better relationships with the other monsters as well. Alienating most of them, they don't even trust you that much anymore and one even made off with the cure because of the choices you all made as a whole. That I had no part in that. I did say that the things we do are your challenges to help the protagonists overcome. I explained why I was helping the Truthsayer so I suppose it is beyond, not your understanding but your openess to understand. I know my choices have consequences, but there are many outcomes to a single choice. We are few that side with the Truthsayer and you are many. Start splitting your focus and actually make a difference.

I really did want to believe in Gastro. He's cute and soft-spoken with charming quirks like saying "Oh fudge" instead of cusses. But actions speak louder than words and his pattern of behavior is one of self-pity and emotional mayhem, now undeniably negative to every other monster around him. How many times has he jeopardized the teams safety or hindered everyone because he was acting in his own self interest? He was willing to <i>kill everyone</i> for Jack when Jack was bad. But when Jack turns good, suddenly Jack is expendable. A death that was, I might add, completely avoidable had Gastro just calmed down, or listened to his team mates like Roro or Harvey who he is supposed to trust. Now, I'm not saying he's a villain, but he's no hero, am I supposed to feel bad for Gastro because killing Jack made him feel sad? No I feel bad for Jack.

Gastro didn't see Jack as expendable! He didn't want to kill him, but if Gastro did nothing The Voice would have had the Arms when Wings cleared their mind of the virus. The voice would have been able to destroy everything. And of course Gastro is emotionally unstable right now. We've been bombarding him for hours from his perspective with horrible things and giving him no time to process. I'm surprised that so far the only ones who have snapped are Gastro and Chuck. We need to remember that these characters, despite their fantastical elements, are very realistic people. What would you do if you were mind controlled into doing acts of sexual violence and forced to acknowledge bad truths about people you love, all in the span of 12-20 hours.
