General thoughts- Star call is extremely cool! What a cute Otter~I like the other worldly design of it all, and the effects. I like how Job Crystals are more than just power sources etc- they are kinda crystallised ideal forms of their oaths to others. Damn, these Lost do seem to be a lot more powerful- and I am conflicted because corrupt Kurt is Very Horny but also I don't want my husband to go out like this! Of course he would become a sexy flower... and dang, he has a kid- no wonder he seemed so obsessed with the ARK in the past, he wants to find her. Interesting how Margaret and Sylvia are presented in opposition to each other in many ways, makes me feel they are both kids of the Gods. And I wonder what is in Port Zero that Curly wants? Something that got left behind in the destruction? And damn. Maybe we are going to find out more about how Red created Cherry... if he can use time magic, maybe he reversed his own age?

Edit: On a side note I absolutely love the design you did for Dominic's staff! <3 It really has my stars personal touch on it with the sided hit die on it, Ooh let it be so that whenever Dominic uses a damaging spell the hit die in the staff rolls and he does between 0%-100% additional damage based on the number it rolls. RNG Star: A bit of Misfortune for new horizons dear doctor. Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe, No more Baaing for the Goat! And with this branding we will be FOREVER connected.” Action: Brand Kurt with a Desires star tattoo on his abs, isolating his mind from the heat, pink smoke emanates from the tattoo, entering his nose and mouth, fueling his ego (unique stat) , giving it boost while allowing him to regain control. The desires stars powers will rush through his veins (giving them a light pink colour) and body as long as that tattoo remains on him, filling him with strength and energy.

Maybe he's always been aware of "Red" somewhere in his mind? Either way, the connection between the two of them runs deep, and I think Wolf knows more about it than he's letting on.

I am actually really thankful that Meek and BC are giving us an update to try and save Kurt. Character deaths are bound to happen, including ones that are independent from the Stars' actions. Not everything has to be because of us, but it would feel kinda weird and sad for a character to die and us not be able to do anything about it, being as powerful and random as we are. Of course if star actions lead to character death is one thing (fucking around and finding out and all that), but characters dying without any of our input, especially these main cast characters, would feel weird. I hope that if death happens again like this, without any of us doing anything wrong, per say, and kind of randomly and out of the blue like this, we continue to be able to help!

OH! AND I bet Kurt (and maybe Cleric) is gonna like us more if/when we manage to save Kurt when he was for sure gonna become a lost, 100% of the time. So in that light, this was a great move, and a great "out of the blue" thing that happened to our heroes. Something where us Stars can unequivocally be just straight up helpful, and our heroes wouldn't be able to survive without our help.

I won't lie, I heckin binge read up to this point because I finally found the time to read it. Holy shit am I glad I did though! Sadly I missed a lot of the byplay by reading up on Comic Fury, so I have to ask, do we (the commenters) just decide a name for what Star we are or is there some cool thingyyyyy?

Basically come up with a name and domain that your star ruled over ( ie Blood Star has blood based actions, Hungry Star with hunger action etc) and then just do actions based on that

I agree with what you say really. That Kurt turn really got me by surprise, as first I thought he may end up like his brother at Port zero, but this was a big surprise and turn of events. Also most importantly, this is a good part to remind us like you said, that even our heroes are not invincible. We must work together to protect one another. Hero's heart is literally a TTRPG choices story at this point, and same rules apply quite a bit in it. In this point we must make a big mental note here: a big rule of any ttrpg story, NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY IN A DUNGEON. Especially one that things like this to Kurt may happen

Supply is limited, coordination is impossible. FLIGHT The half-light pulls you and nearby allies into a veil of shadow, rendering you intangible and undetectable to the beasts. The way out is illuminated by a trail of half-light. FIGHT You grow in strength, agility, willpower, and constitution, but become unable to hold back. Tendrils of half-light sprout from your body, attacking enemies and warding off attacks as you rampage. The tendrils will expire when your enemies are defeated and not a moment before. FREEZE Declare a set duration of time. You and anyone you are holding enters a stasis, becoming petrified by a veil of half-light. You will remain safe. Your bodily processes will be paused. Just caught up after a long time away -- oh gosh, I'm REALLY loving this separated Cherry bit! The fact that Red's an arbiter himself, the way Cherry(?) decimated that principal type in a single panel... I know this is a horny comic, but the shock of the gore NEVER gets old!!! <333 Also, the new lost designs are PERFECT every time. I've been reading with my boyfriend a lot (who is also subscribed don't worry) and we CONSISTENTLY comment on the creativity and execution of the lost. Beyond that, the composition is always STELLAR, and the posing besides! Seeing Cherry(?) lying on that table alone, and then the upside-down shot... Museum-quality stuff!!!
