ohh boy, had a hard time with this one, not sure why hah, but as always, p fun to draw nonetheless! hope you enjoy the update! also we are introduced to the big daddy of the gods, 

Fredrik of the roaring sea; Lord of all that is below and above the ocean, father of storms, speaker of Lightning and passing more than some resemblances with a couple of people we might have seen in the story already-

I just want to prevent them from being intercepted/interrupted/held back in any way from regrouping as fast as possible, the last thing we need is some plot device forcing everyone apart after all these revelations. But knowing this is a prime opportunity for a plot device forcing them apart after all these revelations is what makes this a lost cause.*

Nice update. Very interesting that hitting Cherry/Zenion in that state would affect all the lost in the same way. I also feel like we should probably try to find some way of reffering to them that won’t offend them. After all it seems like this god truly wants to be Cherry, but simply calling him Cherry will be confusing.

R.N.G Star: Well that’s one way to use a staff greenie magi, hope you take some time to train your spellcasting with it in the meantime a little speed for the need. Action: Create a iron wheelbarrow with pillows and a blanket inside to put cherry in and grant Dominic and Wolf super speed and stamina.

What a fantastic and riveting update! I absolutely love the direction this is going in, and love the mixture of horny and body horror. Thank you so much for the hard work you did on this. Also, that panel on pg 11. Magnificent. Almost looks like a Greek statue and I very much marvel at the skill it must have taken to get that right. Thank you!

Past my initial yaaayyy thoughts time! Kurt's flowers save the day! Interesting that the flowers worked but Dr Cleric's spell did not- I wonder if his crisis of faith is affecting his magic. So Cherry/Red/Zenion seems to be having an extremely strong identity crisis. Is this a result of whatever Red did, blending him and Zenion? Creating a being that is neither of them, but also desperate to have an identity. It is interesting that Cherry/Zenion is like... still trying to be Cherry, when we are pretty sure that Beast!Cherry is Cherry. But also isn't Cherry at the same time. Many Cherry hahaha. It seems to be rolling based on Cherry's stats- is it the STAIN stat of Cherry essentially separated out from him? Dom talks about the 'real' Cherry- but genuinely what is that? Is it the memories that Cherry has accumulated? Or is it the body that is Cherry? Wolf calls it just a monster, but Cherry is definitely in there somewhere. Interesting the Arbiters call it a trap - and honestly the Archdruid is currently the most honest, but I don't trust him either. Just pointing out they are being hypocrites doesn't make him trustworthy. Interesting that High Wizard doesn't want to stop violence... what is his deal? Unless he sees the potential for the prophecy to be fucked up here, so doesn't want to risk a reset. Interesting that I think Zenion and Red are kind of fighting one another? It seems that Zenion is the aggressive force, and Red is a more... passive force attempting to escape destiny in some way? That makes sense with the idea of a time loop- if Red wants to neither be an Arbiter or a God, putting himself in a situation where time constantly resets when he might leave that state makes a lot of sense. And we see some of the Zero Four! Interesting it mentions 'may your love last forever' - was Zenion still alive at this point? Or is that the Gods calling on his power? Everyone taking damage... anyone connected to Zenion and the Heat seemed to have been damaged by it- and that Margaret and Curly took damage makes be feel that they are children of Gods as well. Interesting that Milo doesn't seem to have taken damage, although it is claimed his curses were connected to the Heat- was that a lie, in which case? It seems like there is something going on there- I need to think a bit more as to why that might be.

Rainfall Star: Good job Dominic, I’m very glad you went with Wolf to get this part of Cherry. I don’t think the two of them could have resolved things nearly as well without you. But what we saw confirmed to me that this Cherry and the beast Cherry are supposed to be together. They’ve been together for a very long time after all, and though I can’t explain why I believe this, but I am reasonably certain those two have been one for potentially millenia. So please, lets undo this division and grant the god’s prayer.

It seems to be because that is Zenion, anyone CONNECTED to Zenion was thus damaged. Killing that creature might kill all the Gods and Lost. Interesting dilemma for the future.

I believe they mentioned this already. But for some reason even attempting to interfere themselves will cause things to go badly enough they have to reset. Similarly if no one interferes they will have to reset. Hence why they contracted us. But that does beg the question of why the hell can’t they keep the prophecy from occuring? Probably one of the big reveals we’ll get towards the end of the comic but I’m still very curious.

Additional thought- I wonder if Milo and Sylvia were attempts by the Gods to create versions/ bodies for themselves untainted by Zenion. So of course Fredrik would go crazy when his puppet that he might want to possess is developing free will

Also more thoughts on the Arbiter's motives- their goal by breaking the prophecy,I think, is to forcibly reascend Red, so they are no longer constrained to the narrative flow linearly. If Red gets his way, and stays on Vidora, they have lost 1/4 of their power.

Love you.” Action: Brand Kurt with a Desires star tattoo in between his tits (The branding doesn’t hurt at all and feels very pleasureful and relaxing) , the Desires stars powers flows through his body thanks to the tattoo as long as it remains on him, giving him a strength boost as his muscles bulge and grow. His ego stat (Unique stat) also receives a boost as well. The tattoo will also provide Kurt with a strong sense of warmth and relaxation, like he is being embraced in a warm hug.

Urrgghh sorry more thoughts. It is notable that Beast!Cherry being near the flowers is what seems to suppress Zenion!Cherry. Which implies a strong link

My theory is this. Cherry is like the next in line to become Zenion, and red is inside him too. Atleast a part of him. And Zenion, is the stain. Not the whole Zenion, just a part of him, a part that desires to end the cycle with any means.... Means that after who knows how long torment might have lead to the truth birth of the Heat, a power that wishes to destroy the world. And if that was not enough proof, we must consider Curly's warning "It walks once more"... Could it be, the Heart of Zenion...!?!?!

My read on the divide, or lack thereof, between the three is this: Red has clearly rejected the status of either god or arbiter, and wants to be "normal", presumably the way he was before his quest. I think Cherry is his way of doing that. Cherry was likely born as a "clone" of Red through some magical means, and has just lived unaware that his template's consciousness is piggybacking in his brain. Consequently, "Red" now has memories of his own life as well as everything he's seen through Cherry's eyes, leading to his identity confusion. As for Zenion, they seem to have been bound to Red before even that, but they also seem to only be capable of mildly asserting their own will. Hell, all of the "god text" seems to be specifically from Red, never Zenion.

Oh interesting point on the God Text! I didn't notice that, but you are right. I guess maybe Red subdued the remnants of Zenion to his will in order to forcibly hide himself from the Arbiters and create the Prophecy? Agreed re Red and confusion- I feel like Zenion!Cherry is very much only Red and Zenion- but Red would *like* to be Cherry so bad he is trying to convince himself with Cherry's memories. It is notable that Wolf SUCCEEDED an intelligence check to point out that 'that is not Cherry', and I think we should take that at face value

ok so like, I dont think I read this? but idk where I would have gotten this idea, my understanding of things is that Red started out as a mage, ascended to become an Arbiter and then ascended again to become Zenion. is that wrong?? which is why he's all of these people i cant find where i read it in this comic so im just gonna assume i made it up and its not the case

I think Zenion is definitely a different creature because it is suggested he existed as a God before Red 'existed' as a Mage - he was one of the original Gods, who the Arbiters have seemingly opposed in the past. Re Ascension to Arbiter-hood, harder to tell how that occurred. The Arbiters kinda suggest in an earlier update when talking about whether Cherry might ascend that if he was going to, he would have already done so, kinda suggesting Red was always an Arbiter in some kind of meta sense, but maybe needed to exist on Vidora for that to occur.

When it comes to the real Cherry....like Steven Universe, we can theorize who or what the real Cherry is. Doesnt matter. He is just him. It shouldnt take splitting him in half or removing his proverbial gem from him to realize that. All this talk of Zenion and Red, when we should just let him be him.

If you look at the end of the update, the Father God is wounded in the same way the Lost were. They all ate Zenion, so they are all connected to him- I think they would at least be wounded by Cherry's death. Probably why they are so desperate to capture him!

True. After all this event I have a big feeling that cherry is a bit like naruto right now. He is the son of a great powerful person, but end up being vessel for a greater power too. To make it simpler, I believe Cherry is naruto, red is Minato, that has sealed a small part of him inside his son, and stain/ zenion is Kurama.
