My intent with this set was to tell a mini-story of overcoming boredom by discovering music, and using the headphones for a target of attention. I really wanted to try to use depth and focus a lot more in this set, but at times I felt limited by the 50mm lens - I think a 35mm would be perfect for sneaking in a bit closer. That's a sentiment that would continue through this shoot and the next, but I think they turned out well despite it.

Another distinction was how much light there is. That wasn't originally the intent but I think it worked out well. Color was important to the theme and it was going to be a lot harder to darken the images without going to black and white. Again, I think it turned out well. I hope you enjoy it!
