This set turned out to be far more than I expected. I had the idea that I wanted to shoot it ahead of time, so it wasn't expected in that regard. Really it happened in the process of naming the first post when I posted it to Instagram. I try to give interesting names to all my posts to help fill out the theme of the images. She had a bit of a noble vibe going and the lighting is more low-key so I thought "Rogue Duchess". Once I posted it, I started thinking about it more; I began envisioning a theme among the images and an actual character with a story. Since I am in the process of creating my own fantasy setting and her looks fit the ethnicity of the region I'm building in, I decided I'd add her as a character into the setting - which is both fun for what I have now, but also exciting for what we might shoot together in the future.
