Half the movie’s runtime belongs to the film production cards!🤣 I loved this movie and everyone did a great job acting in it! That little girl was great as Lily! Flipped between innocent and creepy easily!

This is a good one. It's worth a second watch because there are subliminal images, and there are other little things you might have missed. The movie was all shot on the cameras you see in the studio. So they ran three cameras at the same time the same way they did TV shows. BUT - if you pay attention when Jack enters his dream sequence the camera is free floating and a couple of times it changes aspect ratio too. If you're really interested the movie was aired with host segments on Shudder under "Joe Bob's Beelzebub Bash" and the star of the movie David Dastmalchian is a guest and he talks about the production. Well worth your time, imo. And I'm gonna throw in another plug for The Substance. Great body horror from a female filmmaker starring Demi Moore and Margret Qualley. Also really crazy.

Aww Kat....thank you, thank you, thank you for this. Love you even more now if poss !!! Up there with my fav horror's of the year. Being a child of the 70's can really relate to the set decor and the film's ambience, brings back many fond memories. David Dastmalchian bosses this flick and this hopefully projects him further up Hollywood's pickings. He was great in AfrAId later on this year, which didn't do as well as Late Night. Ingrid Torelli as Lilly is great in this too. So glad you enjoyed it. Peace xx

Kat, you should know, they got the 'abraxas' being related to 'abracadabra' thing a bit mixed up. 'Abracadabra' is from the Hebrew words "ebrah k'dabri" which means "I create through speech", which is what God did to create everything in existence ("Let there be light", etc.). The Aramaic, Hebrew's sister language, is even closer, "avra k'dabra", which means the same thing. 'Abraxas' is from the Greek, which is a language & alphabet very closely related to Hebrew. The word was put on amulets probably in the belief it would strengthen one's will to control the world around one. The word 'abraxas' most likely simply means "I create". Since we're all created in God's "image", we should realize what strength there is in the power of speech, so we should be careful with our speech, towards other & ourselves. 🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌 PLANET TERROR! PLANET TERROR! PLANET TERROR!🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟

It’s been a bit, but I’m happy I resubscribed. Great reaction!
