We saw Crime 101 yesterday now we are going to see Wuthering Heights. That's actually a remake of a 1992 movie. We will see you tomorrow with the X-files 🤩

I will never not laugh when Shepherd brings up "the special hell"...it is hysterical. And as I mentioned in the livestream this morning, I hope you continue with these instead of slowing down...yes, it sucks that it'll be over quickly, but this show is so much fun to re-watch, so you can always come back to these characters. It's one of my comfort shows, and I usually rewatch it once a year. We love our Big Damn Heroes!

One thing that many people misunderstand (I think) is why Zoe doesn't like Saffron and gets mad at Wash. It isn't because she suspects that Saffron has an ulterior motive; it's because Saffron is something that Zoe is not -- the perfect little submissive wife. Saffron is the stereotypical "little woman" who is subservient to her husband, cooks for him, washes his feet, treats him like her lord and master, etc. Seeing Wash even appearing to be attracted to that triggers some insecurities within Zoe, which later causes her to snap at him. Wash, of course, much prefers his "warrior woman," which is why he doesn't give in to Saffron's charms.
