My heart broke a little seeing inara break down like that. And yeah, its her own fault for not speaking up about how shes feels to Mal. But god damn. Just a little more communication would be awesome between them. But then again Inara hates complications and wants to be independent so much, that she doesn't say a thing and tortures herself doing so. Which leaves Mal, and i think he has a sense somethings there, but inara will not yet herself reciprocate at all. oh and i totally get Kat's feeling being, strung along. lol. I love firefly.

I think "frick muffin" may be my new favorite thing to say when I want to curse but can't curse, lol. I never read that look from Inara after Nandi dies as being angry at Mal, I read it as anger towards Rance...it's like they didn't even need to speak to each other, and she was telling him to go kill him. And Mal and Inara's relationship is just so....complicated. There is so much chemistry and love there, but neither of them can just come out and say what the feel. And like Nandi said, both of them hate complications, so they think it will be easier if they just do nothing. Though I do think Mal was going to share at least a little of his true feelings before Inara interrupted him. And I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for you to learn the theme song next episode!! And if you don't, I guess you'll just have to watch the series again! :) And don't forget, you still have the movie after the last episode...so there's still more to come!

She is taking a risk if she tells him how she feels. He will require her to give up her profession and then probably regret it and blame him…. You are a romantic but truthfully she should have left a long time ago…

It's always good to see you Kat, great job as always.

in one of the earlier episodes, someone pointed out that Simon calls River "Mei Mei", which is a Mandarin phrase for little sister. I noticed Nande called Inara that a few times. so, thanks for whoever pointed it out. its awesome to learn new little details about shows you've loved for so long.

Inara wasn’t mad at Mal. She was telling him to end Rance. They were sharing grief and rage in that look.

Yeah, I always saw Inara's look toward Mal as anger toward Rance as well. Mal showed the same look toward Inara but you know he's not mad at her. They both expressed without saying out loud: "Rance needs to die."

I think this is my least favorite episode of the series, but it still has some really great parts. I hope you watch the Serenity film to wrap everything up.
