Well done! This is The Andromeda Strain! I saw this back in the 90's, and this is great to watch again with you!

K, Zachary

We have watched it till the 11th season but stopped there. Yeah great show years a head of it's time.

Who Are These People

It worked out in the end because that door had a rubber seal that moulded around the handcuff chain so no spores dispersed. I guess.

When this show first aired, a lot of the fandom found it an underwhelming retread of the first season episode "Ice," with the worms in the isolated arctic research station... which itself was a very direct homage to 1982's "The Thing." One of the weaker episodes of the second season (in my opinion, at least), and somewhat of a disappointing "monster of the week" episode to have our heroes (who've gone through so much in finding each other and re-opening the X-Files) finally back in the saddle for. Fortunately, you still have plenty of banger episodes ahead in the back half of Season 2. NO SPOILERS! Regarding watching this again, I have to say it's really taking me back. I haven't done a re-watch of the series in about a decade, when I introduced it to my wife, so these episodes are familiar enough to be comfortable, but distant enough that I get to re-experience them all over again. It's been great having a weekly pizza and X-Files night to look forward to again, like I was back in the 90s. :D

Josh Link

What a phenomenal list of guest stars this episode.

Daniel Karlsson

Only watched random episodes on tv as a kid, so its a first full watch for me.

"Mommy, why did a penis come out of that man's chest?"

Owen Kosik

"She behaves like a 10-year-old!" No man, go watch her in everything else she's in, that's just her style lol

You are too much of a horror veteran now to be fooled by X-Files monster of the week episodes. You all the tropes better than they do.

I recognize a bunch of people but couldn't put names to them. The girl from the Saw franchise, and the "genius" scientist I've seen in a bunch of stuff.

I only recently watched the Andromeda Strain and it's a really solid hard scifi movie. They don't make them like that anymore.

RJ Inkglider

The remake looks like an abomination.

"His password is TrustNo1(exceptMaybeSometimes)." Lol.

RJ Inkglider

I might as well be watching it for the first time. I can only vaguely remember this series in the broadest of strokes.

"She likes a little forehead kissy, we know.." lol
