Who Are These People

Also, do you have merch? How about "Kiss already!" Edit: Oh I found your merch. I can't wear any of that to work (also couldn't wear "Kiss already!", but heck.)

This episode is sort of meant to serve as your helpful reminder as a viewer, in anticipation of the impending season finale, that- be they recurring character or just a guest star -everyone in the X-Files has their own agenda, and their own lines that they can't or won't cross.  "He didn't lie, but he exactly didn't tell the truth either" pretty much sums up Mr. X.  He doesn't have Deep Throat's lifetime of regrets, so you never can quite know which side of the line he's going to fall on every time he turns up. I'll be very interested on your take on "Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma," which I assume is the 'new Gillian Anderson movie' you were talking about.  Any chance we'll see your reaction to it on the channel? Tony Shalhoub was starting to get big around the time he guest-starred here; he was a regular on the sitcom "Wings," and stayed busy during and (obviously) after that.  Also worth noting, this episode was written by Vince Gilligan, who'd go on to become a producer on "The X-Files," as well as the showrunner for some other great TV shows like "Breaking Bad" and "Pluribus."  This episode is actually among Gilligan's first credited work. Season finale's coming up... the season finales and premieres on this show tend to be big events; hope you're ready for it!

"Kiss already" in the X-Files font (with a little heart or kissy-face where the 'X' goes) would be a banger, and would honestly be a great X-mas gift for a good dozen or so hardcore X-Philes I know.

Given Kat's literal gasp of surprise and obvious joy at seeing Tony Shalhoub with no prior knowledge that he would appear in the series, would you consider editing your comment to remove the names of people who haven't yet appeared in the series? Not trying to be salty, just trying to preserve those wonderful moments for those who haven't had them yet.

Scientist gets in a lab accident and turns into a monster that can't control the damage he does? His name is Banton? Somebody on the writing staff wanted to write an Incredible Hulk story lol

Michael clark

The female detective was the changling in another episode. The girl that changed to a guy and back… the Amish type people show

That's actually the exterior of the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond. I live here. : )

RJ Inkglider

That's Tony Shalhoub (sp?). He was a pretty big name in the 90s but I think it was Monk which really made him huge.

RJ Inkglider

Great reaction Kat. You were deep into the mystery.

Kit Taylor

Another one of my favorites. You probably already know this, but the creator of "Breaking Bad" and "Pluribus", Vince Gilligan, wrote or produced a number of great "X-Files" episodes. This would have been more than decade before he came up with BB.

It occurs to me that the shadow from the opening scene shouldn't have been able to get all the way to the guy's feet inside his room. Light doesn't work that way.

Vince Gilligan wrote this one. No wonder it was so good.
