Comments

Symon O'Hagan

YAYYYY!!! I am APPALLED that i neglected to recommend this one to you! It's such an 80s videostore classic! I can't WAIT!

Julian San

OMG I mentioned this movie after your 28 Days reaction and it’s awesome that you got to it!

Thomas Yanez

Yummy! Welcome to (arguably) the mainstream origin of the fast zombie trope.

Paul K. Bisson

Oh, this should be fun! Bring on the 80s Horror-Comedies! Looking forward to it.

ManHind SteamCushion

The soundtracks for this, Repo Man, and Dogs in Space: still in rotation.

Josh Link

“No half-dogs were hurt in the making of this film” had me dying. 😂

Jeff

Braaaaiiiiinnnnsssss!

ManHind SteamCushion

Brains brains brainsbrainsbrainsbrains... The half-zombie they interrogate always makes me think of similar creature design in "Lifeforce".

Eddie Perkins

This was fun and funny, "Send More Paramedics" so many great lines in this. "- Trash: Do you ever wonder about all the different ways of dying? You know, violently? And wonder, like, what would be the most horrible way to die? Well, for me, the worst way would be for a bunch of old men to get around me and start biting and eating me alive." You know what they say: "Careful What You Wish For." Anyone willing to be nude the whole movie, you gotta love them, right? 🤷

Erik Kuhnle

This one's just so much fun. Linnea Quigley and Clu Gulager. Great script, great makeup, and one of those films that's totally rewatchable multiple times. O'Bannon was a major driving force behind Alien, Lifeforce, Heavy Metal, and Total Recall as well. Lifeforce would be a cool one for you to do, but there's a fair amount of nudity

Symon O'Hagan

So George Romero the guy behind "Night of the Living Dead" had a whole court case to stop this movie on account of people would think it was a sequel to his film. But the judge decided that the words "living" and "dead" were in the public domain and so it went ahead THANK GOODNESS. For more 80's teens eager to par-TAY and for more Linnea Quigley please do check out "Night of the Demons".

James MacDonald

I think we feel the same way about Kat as she does about sloppy, wiggly zombie.

Jay_delachance

So, what part of the following were you specifically thinking applies to Kat? 😁 "... and that one that was trapped in the basement that was all sloppy, he just wanted a few brains! And he kind of wiggled while he walked. I loved that one! Like I really, really loved that one! He was so cute! You know, when he wasn't eating people. He was just a little sweet little sloppy thing!"

Patrick Flanagan

Joined your Patreon for this reaction. Not a lot of reactions to this on YT for some weird reason.

Sean Snow

Linnea Quigley was one of the 80's prominent scream queens. She spent a lot of on screen time topless, not just this movie. Oh, and we used to roller skate to the music at the sake rink. The 80's were an awesome time.

Raj Hudek

Found your channel and Patreon just in time for the best month of the year all around!!! It's scary movie month. Pumpkin Spice Lattes and copious amounts of screaming, blood, and guts!!! I'm lining up one of your reactions each night for the whole month! LezGooo! BRAINS!!!! 🧠🤯

Kinokind

You're right - "Lifeforce" is a great film no one does. Judicious cutting or blurring should be able to get around the nude pulchritude. Or, just "Avert Your Gaze"!

TheEmeraldWriter

That sloppy zombie from the basement is a character named tarman. A recurring and beloved character in these movies

Joseph Charles

How does he survive the bomb for a sequel? Is it one of those retcon type of deals or—no, wait, don’t tell me. I found the sequel on Prime. And what are zombies and the undead, really, but the ultimate retcon? “I thought you were dead.” “I was!” “All right.” “Still am.” “Fair enough.”

AB-80X

I mean, "cute" definitely fits. And as Terman, Kat is very animated in her expressions:-)

AB-80X

All Zombies coming out of Trioxin barrels are by definition Tarman zombies. But this sloppy guy, is the OG, and by far the best and cutest.

AB-80X

I don't know if it's because it my fave movie you have reviewed, or it is just because your expressions in this are so funny, but this is my fave reaction of yours. It was really sweet and funny.

AB-80X

Btw, they used those little battery operated toy dogs in the plastic bags:-)

James Rogers

I almost lost it when you suggested they should shmoosh 2 half-dogs together. Maybe Tarman can take them all out for a nice walk in the park.
