Upcoming changes and "new years resolutions" for a day at (Patreon)
Content
Heya everyone!
I hope you all had some nice holidays and maybe even a little time to roll some dice :)As the year comes to a close, I want to share some of my plans for 2025 and announce a few changes to how I’ll be working going forward.
Upcoming changes in short & sweet:
New Schedule: The big content packs will now get released every 6 weeks, giving me time to continue creating high-quality content without burning out and the means to also get some organizational tasks done.
Integrating FoundryVTT map modules as official part of the patreon (as short-term goal)
Next Pack (#24) will be themed around a Space Station / Space Ship.
Cloud Update Posts (so you are always up to date when I update things or add new ones even as an alternative option to the Discord Server announcements)
Integrating the Patreon Shop as an alternative access option (as long-term goal)
Annual Memberships: Launching in January, offering a discounted option for long-term supporters.
For those who would like to learn more about the reasons behind these changes and upcoming plans, read on! :)

Why change things?
I absolutely love creating content for this community and want to keep delivering work that you’ll enjoy. However, sticking to a mostly monthly release schedule has often meant squeezing 5–6 weeks worth of work into 4 that resulted in a lot of overtime and weekend work. These last few months, I realized that pushing myself this hard isn’t something I can keep up sustainably— not if I want to stay healthy and keep loving what I do.
After sharing these thoughts with the Discord community, I was overwhelmed by the supportive feedback I've got. All of those who got back to me encouraged me to take the time I need to create my best work, without rushing or adding smaller pieces “just for the sake of publishing”. Your feedback was really valuable and I’ve taken it into account and been reflecting on how to balance delivering high-quality content with maintaining my well-being.
Taking your input into account I feel that a 6-week schedule for big content packs might bring the right balance — it gives me time to create something meaningful without rushing, but it also gives you the certainty that you can expect new content from me at regular intervals. It also brings the opportunity to tackle some long-overdue organizational tasks and gives me more margin for buffers if a specific theme does become a little more complex. .
Foundry VTT Map modules:
Completing the Foundry modules for older packs (starting with Pack #11) has been on my list way too long now and including them as official part of the a day at Patreon is something I will definitely prioritize in the near future.
I also plan on creating a free “showcase module” that will include sample maps from every themed content pack that I plan to update regularly with every new pack.
.
Next Content Pack (#24): Space Station / Ship:
I chose to decide about the next theme this time because I am going to work on a potential collaboration, and that one needs assets from this setting XD.
So, there won't be a community poll for the #24 pack, sorry! But as the space ship theme have been pretty popular in previous polls I'm sure this pack will include lots of elements you'll love.
I also hope that it will include some assets that will also be interesting for some cyberpunk-y settings, which some of you have been asking for as well.
And even if the collaboration doesn't work out, we'll still have a great content pack to enjoy. And don't worry, I'll still be focusing on modern and post-apocalyptic settings in the future.
.
Cloud Update Posts:
I want to expand the changelog I’ve been using on Discord to Patreon, so you’ll always know what’s been added or updated.
This will also help me share early access to parts of larger content packs without cluttering the feed. (I still have to see and try out how it will be possible for me to share the Dungeondraft asset packs when I export them to make the maps with them, for example)
For that purpose I am going to create 3 posts that I will update once there have been significant changes on the cloud. They will be divided into the respective tiers so you´ll only get notifications that are of interest to you.
.
Patreon Shop:
While the cloud has worked seamlessly for most of you, I want to offer an alternative way to access content, especially as a backup in case of technical issues. By integrating the Patreon Shop, active Patrons will have free access to their respective tier rewards there as well.
This also opens the door for non-Patrons to purchase individual packs without subscribing. I see this as a long-term improvement to ensure everyone can access the content they need in the way that works best for them.
.
Annual Memberships:
Many of you have been supporting me loyally for a long time, and I’m incredibly grateful for that! By introducing annual memberships, I want to make it easier for those of you planning to stick around to support a day at in the long-term—while also offering a small discount as a thank-you.
It’s also a way for me to show that I’m committed to this project for the long haul and that I plan to keep creating content and growing this community together with you.
.
Thank you all!
Thank you so much for being part of this community! Your support has made it possible for me to keep creating content and I can’t wait to share even more content with you in the upcoming year(s)!
If you have any thoughts, questions, or suggestions, I’d love to hear them! Feel free to share here, on Discord, or send me a DM.
Here’s to an amazing 2025 together!
