a day at the space station - sneak peek [& Dungeondraft Early Access content pack for creative & thorough GMs] (Patreon)
Content
Heya everyone! I wish you all a great friday and amazing upcoming weekend!
I am happy to share a few insights on the upcoming content pack "a day at the space station".
I have to admit I would love to do so much more for this content pack, but I had to realize that I could fill at least a year worth of content if I wanted to do all of your great ideas alone. So I have to constrain myself so its not getting out of hand. But thats also why organizational things have taken a back seat again so that I can offer you as complete a pack as possible.
Currently I´m on track to share the full content pack with you by mid-February.
Also a different approach this time: The community suggested that I share some content early on, and I think it's a fantastic idea. I'm excited to try it out and see how it goes! That´s why the creative & thorough GM´s can now find an "Early Access" Dungeondraft Asset pack on their clouds.
It contains the assets I have finished so far. But since I often draw (or change) assets while I'm making the modular rooms and prefabs (kind of my internal alpha test) and the assets are then intensively tested again while making the map (beta test), the DD Pack will most likely change. (I am going to exchange it with a new version with the full release then).
But don't worry, most of the assets are ready, and I'm so happy that you have the opportunity to use them in your maps already (and maybe count you to my alpha testers?! XD).
.
Here are a few examples of the assets I drew and are part of the Early Access pack:
The image above does not show all assets - so far there are over 60 individual assets and over 2000 in total. (I´ve made waay too many table and bed variants, oops)
With these assets I've been focusing a lot on walls and textures because I think they are great to convey a sci-fi feel onto your maps. Although I've gone more in the "space opera" direction with my drawings I'm really hoping I can do this genre and the style of a day at justice with this one and that it will fit some more cyberpunk-y vibes as well.
I am not quite happy with the portals yet and going to revisit them (not shown here), I also already saw some minor things while testing if the Dungeondraft pack works properly that will need some fixing until it gets "officially" published.
.
As for the map(s):
I sketched out a whole space station for this one and really hope I will be able to bring it into reality like I imagine it:
Theres still a bit left to sketch and yet again its quite huge, so I hope I will be able to bring this monstrosity to life!
.
So whats next?I am getting started with the modular rooms and prefabs now, also want to change a few things on the asset front and hope I will be able to do some background (images & textures) - well and then on to the maps including the foundry module and then finally sharing the complete pack with you :)
.
So, I hope I've been able to give you a brief overview of what's to come.
If you have any questions, ideas or suggestions, you are welcome to let me know.
Write it in the comments, send me a DM or bring it to the Discord Server :)

I wish you all a wonderful day!Greetings from Ana
