a day at is back! (Patreon)
Content
And I am very happy to present to you many wonderful changes!
We finally have:
> an a day at Cloud Server to access your content easily
> a "Just Assets Tier" for those who like to create their maps from scratch
> the a day at Website: https://adayat-maps.com/
Also:
> The content is now retroactively available in 300ppi png / jpg resolutions.
> There are now only two daytime variants - day & night [To keep it more simple and avoid redundant content. What was previously "neutral" is now labelled as "day"].
> The Dungeondraft content is limited to the "day" content, as you can adjust the brightness very easily with dungeondraft to make night maps. [I made this change because the dungeondraft packs became very confusing and bloated otherwise].
> We now have official terms of use - in case you want to use the content commercially or want to share your own creations on social media.
How can I access my content on the cloud?
You can access your content by following the link in your level specific library post and entering the current password.
casual gm´s Library - creative gm`s Library - thorough gm´s Library -Just Assets Library
You can download all the content you need from your level-specific cloud page - so you don't need to switch between the different levels!
If you are subscribed to a day at - modular modern maps for more than one month you are welcome to sign up for your own user profile on the cloud! This way you don't need to look up the current password. [You can find all necessary infos on the library post]
I will keep the Patreon uploaded content online for the transition period - in case of problems with the cloud. But future content will only be uploaded to the cloud.
Please reach out to me if you have trouble accessing your content!
Note that some content has changed in the meantime and the latest versions are only uploaded to the cloud.
More Details and some thoughts - for those interested:
Even if it was a pity not to be able to work so much creatively the last month - I think to revise the offer of a day at - modular modern maps was a necessary and good step.
Especially the possibility to offer the content via a cloud makes me extremely happy. No more clicking 34 links, yeah! I think this is currently the best way to make life easier for all of us! [Even though it was anything but easy to find a suitable provider that could meet my demands - and is still affordable XD].
The experience I have gained in the last few months also has helped me to review the content and to see what the most important core contents are that I would like to offer you. The result is that I have added some content - but also reduced some of it.
For example, I was never really satisfied with the day variants and often got the feedback that they were actually redundant. With this reduction, I hope that everything is simply a little clearer and cleaner.
Cloud CHANGELOG
Speaking of changes. While transitioning the content to the cloud I used the opportunity to exchange a few things:
> All maps, modules, BASE modules and Assets are now retroactively available in 300ppi aswell as 100ppi png / jpg resolutions
> The printable PDF´s in the [#1] a day at the streets pack now have the right size when printed [Apparently my pdf program had a wrong setting in the beginning]
> The Dungeondraft packs now only include the daytime versions, as you can adjust the brightness very easily with dungeondraft to make night maps.
> The [#5] a day at the desert outpost Dungeondraft packs have been optimized [as they were not properly compressed and quite big in size]
If you are interested in the new stuff and changes just check out the revised Patreon page or the new website :)
