Hi Dilby, still having an issue with opening the file. There are no samples showing in the project. Help please

Dilby

Hey Mikhail, the project files work perfectly. Please read the replies on the other comment for instructions on how to extract it properly. If you can't work out how to do it, try using the Zip file version that is also available.

Sammy

Nice one!

Nathan Paul

the samples are missing from this project

Dilby

Hi Nathan, I hope you're good mate. I just downloaded it to test an all the samples seem to be there.

Dilby

I've sent you a message to see if I can help you get it sorted bro.

Scott Callaghan

hey guys, having the same issue here. what was the solution

Dilby

Hi Scott, sorry to hear you're having a problem with the project. I just downloaded it at home on my laptop (not my studio computer) and it all seems to work fine. Does it say "sample offline" for all the samples? The way I did it was download the .alp file then double click it to open. You should be prompted to select a location for the project files. At this point you then need to go to the File menu and select "Open Live Set". Go to the location where you chose to save the Ableton Live Project and see the live set to open. In this case it should be "Hot Since 82 Bass - Patreon.als" If you want to double check the samples are there. Go to the location where you saved the project and there is a folder called Samples. This is where all the audio samples are stored. If you don't follow what I'm saying try Google search for "How to open ALP Ableton". I'm sure someone has explained it much better than me already. Alternatively, there is a Zip file which also works fine. All samples are inside, just extract to wherever you want the project.
